Artist (and orange enthusiast) here and I have detected foul play. It was claimed that the transition between colors at 3:38 was achieved by only darkening the orange, but this is NOT true. I analized the colors in SAI and the one classified as orange has a value of 17 in the hue wheel, while the "darker" one has a value of 7 (for reference true red is 0). Not only that, but the second one is also slightly less saturated, making it LIGHTER. So it HAS to be more red to be able to be a "darker shade" than the orange. Micro identified correctly, red does have less GREEN, but not less blue (that would just make it a less saturated shade). The second color has LESS green and MORE blue, making it more red (and less yellow) than the first. "Orange" = RGB 255, 73, 0 and "red" = RGB = 255, 53, 26. Whysaac is tripping.

To be fair, the computer clearly placed the color in between orange and red. therefore its a mixture of the two, meaning that its not wrong to call it Orange-Red. now there is probably some bullshit name like: "dragon fart red" for that color or some shit like that but to me its Orange-Red

Screens, often the same exact model, have different color calibrations from right out of the factory. Some screens may look more red while others may look more green by default, so all of them may have a point. I'm colorblind though.
My monitor has a hight difference same as some of the pics that's shown cause of my hight, monitor is slightly lower than me & that make the top part look brighter
Using photos to try and compare shades of the same colour seems flawed to me, if all incoming light was white and the camera one certified as being 100% colour accurate, perhaps it might work but the first is definitely not true and I suspect the 2nd isn't either; in fact the 1st issue makes, making colour accurate cameras near impossible. So saying "it's darker" is not reflective of the actual colours caught by the camera, even if you take a photo of the same thing, the differing amount of light will vastly more affect the resultant image resulting in differing RGB values and thus will produce photos with different shades or even colours.
the f*ckiest part is that i noticed that the higher you are relative to your monitor, the more orange it looks, the lower you are, the redder it looks.
All monitors have larger color ranges than most phones. The monitor was correct in displaying the colors for multiple reasons, Phones need to conserve power so they don't provide as much energy to the screen as an outlet would to a monitor. That's why then you use your phone while its plugged in it gets a little brighter. This means the phone has to average color values, a red with a value of 255 (Max brightness) would be the same as 250. This conserves power. I also have eye dropped the color in Gimp. it has a value of 255 Red + 73 Green. True orange in computer terms is 255 Red + 127.5 Green. It's not red, Its Reddish Orange. As soon as you add any green values it has orange in it, until it has more than 127.5, in which case it gets closer to yellow. For this case 73 is closer to 127.5 than 0. It's more closely related to Orange then Red. This is coming from someone with an Associates Degree in Computer Programming BTW.
