I have always loved JD's lyrics, the emotion he has in his voice, how he carries himself. No matter if he's gutteral screaming or melodic. This one though, seeing him in an isolated room and then beaten on, actually made me say No outloud and I did tear up. I love art like this, it makes you Feel. Thank you Jonathan Davis. For every lyric you've ever written and belted, but especially putting yourself out there. You are loved.
He definitely conveys a very strong message with the imprisonment portrayed in this video. I believe we are all in a prison as of 21st century, first quarter. We are all under surveillance, and under threat of violence if we speak up.

Why is this such a fantastic standalone song?! I've tried to look through a lot of his other solo work, none of it seems to resonate the way this does. Lyrically it's fantastic, the piano is just a fantastic choice underneath it all.
