I am not sure why kick scooters are considered kid's toys and bikes are not. As an adult, I prefer riding a scooter over a bike.

I'm 57 old, have the same the first day down and pain for a week but if take care with holes no problem, now go fast, y feel good, loose your fear is good for ride and excersice, and very fun, my partners in job laugh but loose weigth, better physical condition (6 kilometers by day), and arrive early to my job.

Having the handlebars shorter makes it much easier to control. First ride I naturally put it ihigh as well.. Then adjusted it and have much greater control now. :P

it didn't take you long to get back into the swing of the scooter... it took me 90 minutes to get used to roller skating again at the roller rink ...side note, nice Batman T-shirt.

Ride with gloves and a bike helmet, keep your speed under control. That's a lot safer than NOT riding a scooter and failing to get the CV exercise and other benefits of riding.

It should. I got a very similar scooter today and if you folder it, it's pretty compact. You could hold it between your legs while seated or standing.
