Having trouble finding the TH-cam EDITOR? Just head to TH-cam STUDIO, on the menu on the left click VIDEOS, select the video that you want to edit... then on the menu on the left select EDITOR and then you can edit your video in there 👍

Thanks for this!:) It just saved me a ton of work, re-editing, re uploading, etc. I merely edited the video online with the TH-cam tool, cut out the bit I wanted to leave out, and re-processed on the fly. Plus, I was able to keep my current video and comments from viewers intact and in place.

It cut out but I touched something and it started recording again, ha ha. It was funny, but not for public. Your video is such a blessing, easy to understand, as I make my own videos in a program, and it was similar, but much different. I am going to cut the end off, and I love the End screen thingo, I am going to give that a go too at some point, it looks fab, and I've seen other videos and wondered how they added them in. It looks like viewer can then click on the next video, and tell them to subscribe, which I forget to ask them to do. I'm so grateful, that you made it so easy to follow Justin, cheers. Tina

No problem - It does take a bit of practice to get used to so no need to feel that way 😊 all the best with your editing!

It may be useful to point out that, after a certain amount of splits (we couldn't number) the editor shows a warning at the left of the save button and prevent from saving the changes, so you would need to undo operations until being able to save again.
This was so helpful - you saved me re-uploading and losing views. I now have a rather clumpy edit in my video, but I need the views and it´ll remind me to pause and think before publishing!

The previous version of the TH-cam editor is far better than this one. The old one had lots of features, such as text overlay, special effects, zooming in/out, brightness/contrast, slow motion, creative common videos/audios/pictures, volume adjustments, and transitions. The new editor does have it's ups- such as blurring, but so many editing options are no longer available. I don't know why TH-cam made a new video editor that has taken away so many privileges. The new editor is harder to use (especially when cropping) and you can't fix an editing mistake whenever it comes to texts or special effects, it's just cutting. The new editor is almost useless compared to the old editor.
100% agree. I'm going to have to upload a completely new video to replace one word I mispronounced in the 9-minute video. There's not even an option to insert text noting the correction, so the ONLY fix is to upload a new vdeo.

I could not trim my video. It says it is "too long", it is 15 minutes long. I had a 10 minute video that it would trim. Is there a limit. I'm talking about adding footage to one that has a plenty of views I wanna keep and just add more footage to that WITHOUT having to edit the original file with new foot and reupload it. thats not possible any more, it used to be, but they took that option away.

Just use an editor software, if u want a free video editor, I would prefer Shotcut.

Hey Justin great video! Can you make minor changes to a video created in a stand alone program and not loose your complex effects or should you just reload on TH-cam with the changes? Will a newly revised video and reloaded video change your date stamp and loose watch hours? Thanks!

Hey, unfortunately youtube did away with the old format. I have a video on my channel premiering today on how to at least be able to edit videos you have, its the best we can do now that the old platform is gone. Please give it a watch.
