- Exploring the remote and often inaccessible Lihou Island, we try our hand at some winter sea swimming in the beautiful (and very cold) Venus Pools.

On the western coast of the island of Guernsey lies the tidal island of Lihou Island. Only accessible at low tide, Lihou Island is a remote corner of Guernsey that many islanders have not explored themselves.
In this video, we explore the island to find the famous Venus Pools, also discovering the ancient ruins of the Lihou Priory. After a lot of wrong turns, we finally found the natural bathing pool known as the Venus Pools, and finally, we manage to brave the cold water for a (rather short) swim.

LOL, you guys go above and beyond to entertain us... swimming in the cold water is truly astonishing. Jokes aside the island looks like a nice place to do a half a day trip to, must be quote a place for clearing one's head. :)

@@highlands2hammocks my family is from alderney .but I grew up in the Netherlands 🇳🇱 still living here .my dad and mum live in alderney again 18 year's already .strait after his retirement they whent back channel islands are a magnet 🧲 so peaceful 🤗
