Played paintball with 3 veterans and a current serving and it was scary as hell. Got two retired marines, a retired army soldier, and a Current captain in the air force who had been in Afghanistan for 3 months. Can’t believe I actually stood a chance with my friend. We actually won a round but still lost real badly (we were 14 but that’s besides the point)

Navy guy here. in the desert on deployment we were sharing the base with marines. I went into the shower house one day and heard 2 marines in the shower having an argument on whether it would be better to "take" 10 guys at one over 1 a day over 10 days. One said he'd rather be sticky and sore and just get all 10 done at once...I walked out

I can relate with Narrator on sleeping on the covers to maintain cleanliness. Only issue is that the drills I had saw issues in us trainees doing that so they prioritized sleeping under the sheets or everyone in the barracks would be woken up and be pushed for an hour/hour n half

I’m told that after putting in an airstrip, the Air Force installs their other most important infrastructure; the golf course.

9:10 my entire platoon did that in boot camp (2001), the drill instructors felt we weren't being challenged enough, so they forced us to sleep under the covers.
The tangent on the bedmaking and sleeping is great. It makes me remember when I was in BC and had to deal with exactly this. Very rarely did I sleep under my blankets. Lmao
USAF basic back in the day wouldn't let us sleep on top. They made us get under the covers.
My father is a Navy Seal veteran and for a fact I can confirm that there is far more probability for them to be alcoholics or addicts than what Nikko said they could be 🤷♀

I was training with marines once and they were training us tactically (I was in the Navy) and I had to take him down when clearing a room and I jumped on his back while my partner was sweeping his feet. I’m 5’9” athletic. He still wouldn’t go down lol they train hard man. It was cool shit. I had all the gear on too! Being an MA

This is great that they finally collabed because I've been stationed at Polk (2/2 IN) for 3 years now, and Nikko was also stationed there, and I reenlisted for Germany, to Narrators unit surprisingly, and I've heard good and bad things but Polk definitely tops the cake.
