So unique and cool. I love how you changed the rhythm. Those slaps are awesome. I hadn't checked your channel in a while, glad to see you're still posting. Better than ever ❤
It definitely doesn't sound shit! Love it, Joo. I've been inspired recently, in large part by you, trying to dabble in the clawhammer realms. It's fun, but I'm not quite in a sharing level yet. Soon!! Btw, I love this song too and your version is super cool!
This sounds the exact opposite of shit! I love this song too and I think it shows how great a song it is that it sounds cool in any style. Your clawhammer is always a joy to behold and the top taps are sooooo cool! Do you know Sinead O'Connor's version? It's really quite beautiful.
Thank you for your warm words Bobby!! What you said made me realise how true it is regarding a great song being super adaptable and open. The top taps were a series of accidents...clawhammer requires one to kinda slap TOWARDS the uke rather than DOWN and the percussion resulted. And YES!! I have listened to Sinead's version but that was ages ago (same as Nirvana's original) and i shall revisit it!
Thank you! I like lots of genres but i especially love folk and traditional. Especially work songs, harvest songs or dance songs strong in percussion. I think i love music that can lift up one's spirits. That is why i also appreciate early gospel music. Huge fan of Jazz. Ornette Coleman is one of my fav.
@@piekia woah, thats super cool!! honestly, i dont rlly have much of an idea of music like that, but i do like ur music/covers,, so ill do some research on it!! love u!!
