Nice one Simon! I have just paid the deposit on my own DF40A, picking up in a few weeks, first I need to build a boat!

My father in law has a 60hp tiller on his Alumacraft.......these engines are so smooth and quiet, they are amazing. Looking to repower my boat with a 40 or 50hp, more likely to go with the 40 for less money and a little more fuel efficiency (gets up and goes just as much as the 50 does).

I would put that key on a language attached to the boat somewhere I've seen that style fly right out of the boat before right out of the motor especially if you got a lot of dangling dangling jingles from it

      @@SimonTorenbeek Zeker, top!
Spreken elkaar!

I have no idea! I am using the standard prop. Best double check with a suzuki outboard service centre.

Hey, just a little recommendedation, you might want to trim up a few bursts. Your wake is very large, and it is visibly evident that you are experiencing unnecessary drag. The moment you are on plane, you can start trimming up. You'll notice a snoother ride, less wet, and higher RPM/speed and gas milage without increasing throttle. You'll also notice the boat steers more easily. You want to trim as well when youre going upeing in rougher water. This will allow you to ride just over the waves instead of through them. When you ride through them, you'll notice that the boat jeeks more, too. The only time you want to trim all the way down is when youre going downwind, because otherwise putting more weight in the back of the boat with the bow raised can make you more prone to water intake and maybe even swamping as well, depending on the nature of the situation. Also, be careful never to trim so high that the bow rises too high and impedes your vidion. Just remember, you are responsible for any damage you cause to other bosts, property, and imjuries you cause to others, including your passengers. I can only pray that you've taken a boating safety course and actually have insured your boat.
By the way, I've saved hundreds of dollars on fuel by using the trim switch effectively. I'm also an expert boater and my name is on the web. I'm 100% credible due to my certification.

Way to go professional last i seen even professionals have accidents.

When did I ever explicitly or implicitly state that I'd never get into an accident, pragmatically speaking? Both knowledge and experience decrease the probability of accident, but they don't guarantee it. You need to understand the difference between correlation and causation. The first one is a mere connection, which I described through the idea of probability. Causation means that there is 100% guarantee that P causes X, for example. This is very hard to determine. There is no way to form a deductive argument in this context.
