    you could have made the veranda larger wider and make the windows larger - make the courses 2 courses from the floor - it will give the house a more light and space.
    The double door will be very tight you can still expand the veranda since you have not roofed

      About the verendah, you are right...I will extend just a meter to get extra print ( for a more stylish roof finish) using three rectangular pillar columns on either sides ( 1M from the current verandah wall) with a horizontal beam connecting them. We are okay with its space ( and only doing this adjustment for aesthetics)

      My footprint had to be optimized to the size of land available. So I decided to design it as an open plan set up. Thanks for the feedback....step by step....we shall be there soon.

    The building idea is splendid 💯💯.... Especially the concept of putting the toilet far from the kitchen.

    Thanks Wanjalaz for the aerial or bird’s eye view of your beautiful home and gardens. It’s such a giant house. Just noted today that you have so many walls. Don’t you think that most space has been taken by the multiple corridors especially in the master bedroom or it’s an apprehensive house. Raised around the border front line we were socialized to think of the alternative exit points in an emergency scenario. How have you the Wanjalaz complied to this as a security measure? Would you consider an additional exit point within your master bedroom?

    • @TheWanjalaz
      @TheWanjalaz  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The village is great and quiet....but the idea of too many doors didn't sit well ... especially with very large windows on nearly every wall on the exterior. Also, Is it perhaps too late to add an exit point to the house now? Especially our bedroom area??

      About corridors, that is the way we wanted our house to feel. We naturally like hallways.
      If our needs change over time, we shall consider any changes to our future structures. This is just our first house/home.

    you are lucky to live in a hot region, because in Russia outer walls are about 400-600 mm thick. And heating system is also very complicated

    • @TheWanjalaz
      @TheWanjalaz  23 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Salman... that's serious! 600MM thick? We bet heating homes is super expensive.
      Yes indeed, we are so lucky to be in a relatively warmer region.

    The design looks good but dont ruin it by putting keys on the wall, keying wall ni old fashion, just do a wall master and paint it all weather white paint..alafu roof weka either decra or box profile ya black..that's my opinion

    • @TheWanjalaz
      @TheWanjalaz  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Kibe! Thanks so much for your suggestions. We have been thinking so hard about the keying thing....We share similar opinions.
      Box profile hio tu moja najua ndio unarecommend?

    • @kibebenja
      @kibebenja หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@TheWanjalaz yes box profile does well hizi zingine zinakaa tiles tends to leak alot or better still do a hidden roof with concrete gutter on the centre its called butterfly hidden roof, its way more cheaper with less timber and les iron sheets since you can use this ordinary mabati and hide them with a parapet wall..200k is enough 190k is enough for a hidden roof labour inclusive

      You can do proper key and apply water proof vanish. The house will look magistic. Plastering is also good but comes at neck breaking cost. Also remember you will keep painting now and then. ❤❤❤
