OMG! The bumpy rings were exactly what I was trying to create a couple months back! I was trying to manipulate the Marble pattern to get the same look, but I just couldn't get a smooth transition with it! Never thought I could manipulate the mesh pattern this way! This tutorial is perfect! Thanks a lot Shane!

Yeah I find the Mesh pattern much easier to control for displacement, I tried marble but prefered mesh in the end! Glad it's helped :)

Is all that messing around with nodes really necessary when using Keyshot or is this only because you are creating your own material?
It’s only necessary if you’re trying to make a custom material. I also was trying to make it as procedural as possible
