"forevermore" - Unreal Engine 5.4 Short Film (UE5)
Some years after the event, we come across a government facility nestled in and around a bleak canyon. A delivery arrives with a fresh batch of workers, enrolled in a lifetime of service forevermore.
I recently watched Severence and a particular quote stood out to me: “Let not weakness live in your veins, cherished workers, drown it inside you. Rise up from your deathbed and sally forth, more perfect for the struggle.” This, along with The Creator and Love Death & Robots, were great inspiration for this short.
Rendered in Unreal Engine 5.4 and animated using the new Modular Control Rig. Robots and buildings made in Blender using the Random Flow add-on by @blenderguppy . Landscape created in Gaea. EasyFog by @WilliamFaucher
Song created in Ableton, sample: Kevin MacLeod - Gregorian Chant

THE SPACE BETWEEN - Unreal Engine 5 Short Film (UE5)
มุมมอง 9522 ปีที่แล้ว
On a peaceful summer's morning, we find the breakfast table set, ready for a gentle start to the day. This cinematic short is my interpretation of Ma (間); emptiness, distance, spaces in between. I visualised this "emptiness" as a quiet moment shared between our couple. A pause in the pervading noise of daily life. It's within this empty moment that the beauty and growth of their bond resides. R...

      Hey, I'm sure not this is possible in KeyShot. You're probably better to animate it in blender and bake out as an alembic file

    I wish it could be possible to make real look metals like gold and oxidized silver in Unreal.. how it is possible as in Octane. anyway, this ad looks dope!

      Yeah metals can be tricky in Lumen especially. Working in Path Tracer would give a better result, thanks!

    Great work Shane, would be great to see the modelling process or a tutorial on the rings. How did you add the imprints on the rings?

    • @ShaneSpenceDesign
      @ShaneSpenceDesign 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks! It was quite simple, modelled the ring without the imprint. UV unwrapped it, then made the imprints with displacement. I’ve got a bit of process work on my Behance 😁

    Shit I wasn't expecting this when I clicked on the video. Something similar has happened twice in my life already, ever since the second time I've just distanced myself from relationships entirely. Mostly because I'm honestly not sure I'd survive a third time. Still, this is amazingly well done, I'm not sure I've seen anything that replicated that feeling as well as this did. Also fuck you for the punch to the gut <3
