***My review on your xxs diaper! WE LOVE IT!!!*** So we have been using the diaper for our chihuahua for a couple of days, definitely like the snaps, it helps snug it up more, so it doesnt sag and hold her tail downwards. When we are home she doesnt try as hard to get it off but when we leave she somehow gets it off so we've started using the velcro straps. (Wanted to try it without the straps first) Today will be a full day at work for us with the straps, so it will be a good test run. The straps are on the longer side but if it gives me any issues later on, i know how to sew so i can shorten the straps and re-sew the velcro back on:) so far we are VERYYYYY happy with the diaper and the baby pink is adorable on her!!! We will be placing another order as soon as we get the extra funds. Funny part is, her just wearing the diaper (so far, knock on wood) she has held it. No accidents at all!!!!! Which tells me she CAN hold it and its marking behavior. I want to thank you so much for your help with sizing, help with answering my questions and for making this diaper!!!! It makes walking into our home enjoyable again, no stress on us walking into our home wondering where theres pee, no stress on my chihuahua for any accidents so its a full all around win win!!!!!! ***if anyone is reading this, wondering if they work, yes they sure do!!!!!!*** tyvm ann marie!!!!
Yay!! I am so happy you like it and that it is working so well!! For the straps you can try pulling the stem down further so it secures to the diaper to shorten it but also good that you would know how to shorten by sewing if needed. Thanks very much for letting us know how the XXS fit. I'm thrilled!
Just wanted to share another update. We had our female chihuahua wear the diaper for about 2 weeks, during those 2 weeks she instantly knew not to pee with it on. Now she doesnt need the diaper on anymore. We do put it on her if we're not going to be home for several hours just as a precaution, But we always come home to a dry diaper and a good girl!!!! I am so thankful for this product, i cant say it enough. We have our 100% housebroken chihuahua back, no more marking in our new home!!!!
***Update after her first day home alone today with your xxs diaper and the velcro strap. ITS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!!!! SHE COULDNT GET IT OFF!!!!!!! I am so happy I decided to bite the bullet and try this diaper and strap!!!! Again, i cant thank you enough for creating a product that helps us ALL enjoy coming home to a pee free, happy dog life!!!! Ty ty ty I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE DIAPERS AND VELCRO STRAP!!!!!!!!*** I definitely need more of these!!!
I got a few of the "Washable Wonders" diapers for male dogs, a pack of "Washable Wonders Diaper Pads," & a set of "Grippers" non-slip doggy socks, & all of them are just great! The diapers are oh so soft to the touch & extremely well made with fabulous material, &, like it says in the video, have nice strong velcro straps. The diaper pads are also super thick & soft & provide an extra layer of protection & assurance against "the unexpected." Since my little guy has been wearing the pads & diapers, we haven't had to clean the floor once, due to a leak. It took him a few days to get used to this strange thing on his little rear end, but now he doesn't seem to mind it much at all. The "Grippers" are equally as wonderful. Once my dog has them on, for the most part, they stay on & in place right where they're supposed to. They make it much easier & safer for my little pup to get around the main level of our house, which is entirely tile. Before he had the "Grippers,"he would scoot, slip & slide all over the place, falling over frequently, & we always worried about him falling or hurting himself. Although he still sometimes has trouble with balance, the "Grippers" give him much better traction & control, &, therefore, a lot better mobility. Also, a special thanks to Carol over at Dog Quality, who answered all of my questions, & handled my order with the utmost care & professionalism. I send my most heartfelt gratitude, appreciation & thanks to everyone at dogquality.com!!!
+STRG8ER So happy to hear that everything is working out so well for your little guy. I'll make sure and pass along your comments to Carol and the rest of our team. We are so happy to know our products are helping. Thanks so much.
I am confident it will work because it sounds like he needs the extra width. The XS is quite narrow because teacups have such small bodies that they can't have them too wide, but some dogs require the wider band. The small can adjust to fit using the extra velcro strip I show in the video above. How about this? I will send you 3 smalls -please try 1 to see if they work and if for some reason they don't, then I'd appreciate it if you could donate the remaining 2 to a local rescue. Sound ok?
I use just regular detergent, but if you are having trouble eliminating the odor you can try machine washing them in warm water. Just don't put them in the dryer otherwise that much heat will erode their waterproof coating.
Doing some research online about dog diapers and found this. Very interesting. We have a medium to large or maybe large Boston Terrier. We adopted him from an elderly man who can't take care of it anymore and this dog was never trained properly. The thing is, the dog is very old and we might resort to getting this.
+ShoryoTombo Thanks for your comment and for adopting him. We also have a version of our diapers without a tail hole that may suit your Boston if he has the typical tiny tail. Another option would be our belly bands. If the issue is just urine a band works very well. Thanks again
The issue is both. He defecate and urinate in the patio. We had to limit his access to the house because he would urinate in certain areas but mostly defecate outside at the patio which is screened in. We started a pattern to take him for a walk which obviously he never had that. So he we see less of mess. LOL I'm still interested in that belly band would this help? Where in your site is this product? I'm at your site now. Thank you for responding.
ShoryoTombo Thanks for the extra info. The belly band would certainly help with the urine but to help protect against fecal accidents you may want to consider the full diaper for males. If you go to: www.dogquality.com/products/washable-wonders-dog-diaper-male you can see our version with a tail hole or here if he has a tiny tail: www.dogquality.com/products/washable-wonders-dog-diapers-male-no-tail-hole thanks
I am going ahead with the purchase of two diapers for my Tyson. I just measured his waist and it's about 26-26.5 inches. So I'm going for the medium according to the website. Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions!
Thanks for your question. The diaper stays in place - you just lay it inside the diaper - no insert/pocket. Due to the fabrics used there is no sliding so it stays very well.
Okay, we can try a small... I'm not sure if it will work or not - he's on the small side of XS. But if you think it will work - I'm willing to give it a try.
Do you, or will you have an option that I would be able to use a baby diaper inside these? I use a belly band now but I lay a baby diaper inside it and then wrap the belly band around that. Absorbent cloths and such just don't allow for how much my dog piddles when I'm away at work, so I have to put a disposable diaper inside the belly band. It works alright, but I like your designs MUCH better than the ones I've bought in the past.
Hi Shannon - sorry to hear the band didn't work out for your one dog. From your description it definitely sounds like it's too small for him which is why you had leaks. With the right fit it would certainly not leak. I hope you can understand why we can't take back soiled diapers but our priority is helping your dog so i'd be willing to send you a size small to try. If you'd like to try it please let me know either by replying here or emailing me through our site. Thanks Ann-Marie Fleming
Hi Stuart - yes we do ship to the UK. We handle it slightly differently but if you would like to email us through our site with the items you'd like to order and your mailing address I can give you a shipping quote. thanks Ann-Marie
Thanks for your question Krista. You will want to empty the dirty diapers into the machine and then I find it best to turn the bag inside out before also placing it in the machine. That way it can get really clean. And then just hang to dry.
I keep watching this video.. very tempeted to order at least one for now to try it. But my question is, how easily can they wriggle themselves out of it? Ours like to drag herself along the floor, up against furniture to help scrape the diaper off. I saw you putting it on the frenchie in the video and i thought to myself yeah.. she would easily peel that right off.. opinions please? Ty
Thanks for your comments and we have the best option for you. Our stretchable straps. They work with your dog's harness and keep the diaper on even if they drag, roll, you name it. Here is a video I did on them: th-cam.com/video/CMbqotuCQgY/w-d-xo.html
@@Dogquality hi ty so much for your fast reply. I watched the video you suggested with the velcro straps.. i definitely think that would be what id need. I will be ordering soon. Ty :)

Is the only difference between the male/female version, the width of the "crotch area?" I'm thinking because a pretty large amt leaks from my female dog when she is laying down etc, that the male version with a wider crotch may offer some better protection. Will the diaper still fit the same otherwise?
kathleen quinn-farber Sorry for the delayed response. The male version fits quite a bit bigger than the female. It is not only wider but it is also longer. I only recommend it if your girl is towards the end of a size range. Feel free to email us with her weight and waist and we'd be happy to help. Thanks!
Hi Bill - these diapers don't come without the tail hole but the hole can be easily sewn up if needed. I use them with my own Frenchie who has almost no tail and they work great even with the tail hole.
Thanks for your comment Nora. We have a lot of customers that use our diapers for fecal incontinence and I use them for my senior pug for this reason as well. They hold things in very well.
Why can't anyone invent a diaper that fits a male dachshund? They are never long enough or don't fit well around those narrow hips. You make a great product but I've spent too much $ experimenting with diaper solutions for my male doxies. Can you borrow a male Doxie as model and make a new video to prove yours might be the solution. We Doxie owners are spent looking and so many of us have Doxies with IVDD are are paralyzed and incontinent. Well?
The sound quality is really difficult to hear it actually hurts my ears the ladies voice is so harsh and sharp it really does need adjusting I had to have it on so low I could then hardly hear it .. the product looks great but the audio needs more bass and less treble maybe it’s the room that’s echoing .. good luck though
Be careful - I ordered according to both of my dogs wastes. They both were within the xs range. They work well on one dog (my slightly wider, shorter yorkie) but do not work at all on my other (longer, thinner bichon/toy poodle). What happens is a LITTLE leaks out on the marking - but then there is DRIBBLE all over as it leaks when he walks. The advice from the company - ship the UNUSED ones back and they will refund. A lot of good that will do. My advice? Keep your money.
