Ironically enough, the Charlotte Tilbury bronzer is the only bronzer I have ever seen that actually works on me BECAUSE of the green hue! All other bronzers look orange on my olive green skin 😁 I usually hesitate to buy expensive makeup, but as soon as I started to hear people talk about how much they didn't like how green it is, I ran right to Sephora and bought it and it was the best decision 😂

I think the pink powder trend works best on people with pink undertones in their skin or neutral. I can see how it would not look as good on your tone because you do have a yellow or even olive looking undertone (or at least it appears so on camera), so you would need yellow if anything . I used LaMer & LaPrairie religiously for almost 2 decades. About a yr ago I decided to simplify, so I bought Neutrogena, Nivea, & Kate Somerville instead. Let me tell you, my skin has never looked better-& this is the actual truth. My skin is JUST as soft & feels absolutely fabulous. Price does NOT equate to quality.
For yeeears ive been wishing Weleda did a fragrance free. That moisturiser is sooo GOOD and hydrating but it feels like I'm doing something wrong by putting it on my face
It is 100% natural, most of their moisturizing products have the exact same smell because of the ingredients (in most cases, I'd say it is chamomile). I am sure they would need to make it non-natural in order to remove the smell. It goes away after a while too
They have several face creams, and if I’m not mistaken the sheer hydration one is scent free Edited to add… the Skin Food isn’t meant to be a face cream really, it’s a body/hand cream.
I’ve never been allergic to skincare, except Weleda, where my face was so swollen i couldn’t really see, and it felt like my face was blistered for weeks. Sometimes all natural is not all amazing 😅

HUDA cherry is my fav! I’m literally so pale like second lightest foundation shade pale, I find if you lightly set the under eye with a pressed powder first then go over with the pink it works best instead of going straight over a wet concealer with the pink powder. Hope this helps 💕💕💕

There are so many things I want fragrance free versions of. The product I couldn't use because of smell/flavouring was the tarte lip paint. It smells and tastes so strongly of mint it feels like rubbing toothpaste on top of your lips. Not even a nice toothpaste, either!
I have eczema around my lips and they are very dry. But for me the kylie lip kits are the only liquid lipsticks, that don't dry my lips out and doesn't give me an eczema brake out. So seeing that it does the exact opposite for you is actually quite funny to me. I do consider your revieuws when I buy something. And since I do, I haven't made a bad purchase. Even if you have a fun night with drinking. Before you go sleep, drink a lot of water like drinks. It really helps. But most of the time it is just dealing with it for me. Omg La Mer! I'm glad I'm not the only one that's very very confused by this face cream. For years I just couldn't bring myself to buy it and a few months ago I was given a deluxe sample. It smells like Nivea, it feels like Nivea, it worked EXACTLY like Nivea. WHY Dear God WHY is it so expensive?!?! Did the ingredients come from far away fantasy land or something?!

It's funny because I moved to Europe recently and since I came from Argentina (where almost everything you can get it's drugstore makeup and it's seriously overpriced) I was amazed by the variety of products I can get here. So... I did this thing when I said, ok, let's get some quality stuff. I started by the moisturizer and because I didn't know what price to expect from a good moisturizer I ended buying a La Mer one because it was the first stand I landed in lol. Months later I found out I just bought THE most ridiculously expensive moisturizer in the market and worst of all I didn't really like how heavy it feels on the skin 😒
I felt the same for the weleda one but the skin food light version has a subtle scent and isn't too much. It is a bit thinner but still a dream for the dry skin :) I use the original one for dry patches like my elbows.

I find my makeup sits best when I moisturise beforehand, using a thicker moisturiser especially on the dry patches, then a more grippy primer, do my makeup then finish with a long lasting setting spray like the elf stay all night one!! 🙏🏼 basically starting with moisture and sealing it all in with a spray at the end 😂
I have the same problem, and my dry patches are all over my body which are itchy. My doctor recommended I try the Cerave moisturizer and its great so far! I've been using water based/oil free moisturizers for so long bc I didnt want to feel oily. The Cerave is thick but non comedogenic so it doesnt feel oily.

I have only heard about the pink powder undereye thing yesterday I think. However I have a pink powder that I adore using when I want to feel like a glamourous 1940s movie star. Because the trend in the fourties was basically to wear a foundation, your shade or a bit darker and to then powder the entire face with pink powder and it would create a beautiful soft velvety matte glow if that makes sense. So I love using pink powder for my historical makeup

My thoughts are exactly the same as yours on the telescopic mascara. It transfers all around my eyes, too. And I dont THINK my eyes are particularly oily. Also, I feel like my lashes go rock solid, so I tend to just put one coat on.

I have almost the same skin tone as you and the givenchy pink powder works really good on me it doesn’t show up as pink it’s a very very subtle pink and more on the translucent side rather than pink and it brightens so. good. For fair / light skin tones in the baby pink shade.
I think it is so important to be as honest as possible with reviews, especially of high-end products. It is such a selfish thing to create false advertising for brands just because they're paying you. Economic times are hard for everyone right now. Using influence to sell a crap product that's super expensive so you get a commission is scummy. Even if it isn't high-end, it's scummy.
I really like the million lash mascara for everyday no makeup looks. Especially the brown. It does make the lashes a bit longer and more beautiful. Maybe wait for it to dry a bit, like 2 weeks or so and then try it. The L'Oréal one I like most is the x fiber lashes I think it's called. With 2 sides. So nice! Give it a try 🥰
So glad you said about the Weleda Skin Food! I HATE it and so many tiktok people say how good it is for dry and SENSITIVE skin, but its really not! Too much fragrance!
I have very, very dry skin and I have tried so many moisturizers and La Mer is the only thing that really nourishes my skin, and because it is so thick you don't need as much.

I have the Half Magic glitter pill liner, too, and it’s exactly the same. Super runny, looks like there’s a ton of glitter in it, but it’s impossible to get it out of the vial because the brush doesn’t pick it up. It barely shows up on the skin, and runs like crazy. So disappointing!! I really wanted to love it; their cream shimmer eyeshadow was stunning, and performed excellently. I hope this eyeliner is a one-off for the brand, because it’s just so flawed. 😢 I have a holo glitter liner from Moira Beauty (their Glitter Glitter liner) in the shade Super Sparkle, and it is EVERYTHING the Half Magic one is not 🤩🤩✨✨ I highly recommend that one! ♥️
The Mario Badescu seaweed night cream has bladderwrack seaweed extract and only costs twenty two dollars for 30 ml. It is a game changer for me. No more dry patches on my face.

The same thing happened with me for half magic I sent it back because I thought it was damaged. As it turns out the silver is the only color that’s a liquid consistency like that, so what you do is shake it and pour it onto a mixing mirror/palette and apply it with a brush and it’s AMAZING. If that’s not your jam use the other colors they work traditionally and also great!

@@sophiabadaro there is perfume, citral and limonene in the formula, so the smell is not attributed to the all natural nature of the product.
@@sophiabadaro a lot of skincare products have essential oils in them, many of which can cause allergic reactions.

Even if you have a fun night with drinking. Before you go sleep, drink a lot of water like drinks. It really helps. But most of the time it is just dealing with it for me. Nooooooo! I love you Soph but I will not hear a bad word against Weleda skin food so I'm skipping ahead 🙉 I love the smell, it's heaven for skin especially in winter. I use it on my face and my hands and I have multiples of the original and light version.

I’m all about making products work for me. I bought a pink powder… it’s beautiful if I mix it with the fenty lavender powder (which I also bought for the hype but hated how light it was) now I can make use of two meh products and I really like the result. Would not repurchase either though 😆
Omg La Mer! I'm glad I'm not the only one that's very very confused by this face cream. For years I just couldn't bring myself to buy it and a few months ago I was given a deluxe sample. It smells like Nivea, it feels like Nivea, it worked EXACTLY like Nivea. WHY Dear God WHY is it so expensive?!?! Did the ingredients come from far away fantasy land or something?!

It's funny because I moved to Europe recently and since I came from Argentina (where almost everything you can get it's drugstore makeup and it's seriously overpriced) I was amazed by the variety of products I can get here. So... I did this thing when I said, ok, let's get some quality stuff. I started by the moisturizer and because I didn't know what price to expect from a good moisturizer I ended buying a La Mer one because it was the first stand I landed in lol. Months later I found out I just bought THE most ridiculously expensive moisturizer in the market and worst of all I didn't really like how heavy it feels on the skin 😒
I felt the same for the weleda one but the skin food light version has a subtle scent and isn't too much. It is a bit thinner but still a dream for the dry skin :) I use the original one for dry patches like my elbows.

I have the same skin type! Oily with dry patches- I would LOVE to hear how to combat the dry patches whether it's certain skin care or makeup tips.
I find my makeup sits best when I moisturise beforehand, using a thicker moisturiser especially on the dry patches, then a more grippy primer, do my makeup then finish with a long lasting setting spray like the elf stay all night one!! 🙏🏼 basically starting with moisture and sealing it all in with a spray at the end 😂
I have the same problem, and my dry patches are all over my body which are itchy. My doctor recommended I try the Cerave moisturizer and its great so far! I've been using water based/oil free moisturizers for so long bc I didnt want to feel oily. The Cerave is thick but non comedogenic so it doesnt feel oily.

I have only heard about the pink powder undereye thing yesterday I think.
However I have a pink powder that I adore using when I want to feel like a glamourous 1940s movie star.
Because the trend in the fourties was basically to wear a foundation, your shade or a bit darker and to then powder the entire face with pink powder and it would create a beautiful soft velvety matte glow if that makes sense.
So I love using pink powder for my historical makeup

My thoughts are exactly the same as yours on the telescopic mascara. It transfers all around my eyes, too. And I dont THINK my eyes are particularly oily. Also, I feel like my lashes go rock solid, so I tend to just put one coat on.

I have almost the same skin tone as you and the givenchy pink powder works really good on me it doesn’t show up as pink it’s a very very subtle pink and more on the translucent side rather than pink and it brightens so. good. For fair / light skin tones in the baby pink shade.

I think it is so important to be as honest as possible with reviews, especially of high-end products. It is such a selfish thing to create false advertising for brands just because they're paying you. Economic times are hard for everyone right now. Using influence to sell a crap product that's super expensive so you get a commission is scummy. Even if it isn't high-end, it's scummy.
I really like the million lash mascara for everyday no makeup looks. Especially the brown. It does make the lashes a bit longer and more beautiful. Maybe wait for it to dry a bit, like 2 weeks or so and then try it. The L'Oréal one I like most is the x fiber lashes I think it's called. With 2 sides. So nice! Give it a try 🥰
So glad you said about the Weleda Skin Food! I HATE it and so many tiktok people say how good it is for dry and SENSITIVE skin, but its really not! Too much fragrance!
I have very, very dry skin and I have tried so many moisturizers and La Mer is the only thing that really nourishes my skin, and because it is so thick you don't need as much.

I have the Half Magic glitter pill liner, too, and it’s exactly the same. Super runny, looks like there’s a ton of glitter in it, but it’s impossible to get it out of the vial because the brush doesn’t pick it up. It barely shows up on the skin, and runs like crazy. So disappointing!! I really wanted to love it; their cream shimmer eyeshadow was stunning, and performed excellently. I hope this eyeliner is a one-off for the brand, because it’s just so flawed. 😢
I have a holo glitter liner from Moira Beauty (their Glitter Glitter liner) in the shade Super Sparkle, and it is EVERYTHING the Half Magic one is not 🤩🤩✨✨ I highly recommend that one! ♥️

The same thing happened with me for half magic I sent it back because I thought it was damaged. As it turns out the silver is the only color that’s a liquid consistency like that, so what you do is shake it and pour it onto a mixing mirror/palette and apply it with a brush and it’s AMAZING. If that’s not your jam use the other colors they work traditionally and also great!
