Gary could go from emotional melt down to Fret board melt down on the guitar in a blink of an eye ,He was glued to his guitar and had a physical and spiritual connection to his axe that few Guitar players ever make ,, An un- forgettable- Electric Guitar Genius in many styles ! That creamy sustain was legendary , ....
Can remember sitting watching Gary come on stage in 83 on the Corridors of power tour when I looked up and saw Ian how blown away was seeing such an iconic legend in such a small venue great memories.
Gary was simply the best guitarist ever to walk this earth. Nobody and I mean nobody could match the skill, emotion and feeling that Gary could put through a guitar. R.I.P MAESTRO! 😊😎🎸🇺🇦
The first and only tour I ever got to see Gary Moore live. Incredible, not lip-synched performance here, really captures Gary at his hard rock finest! Thank you for this!
When I'm asked if I like 80s music, I always say that it depends which 80s music they mean. Because there's Duran Duran and Kajagoogoo, then there's THAT. Give me that any day of the year.
GreenerHill Eddie had made his mark by then.....and then Yngwie arrived around 83 Personally speak Michael & Gaz were and are my top two then guys like Brian May, George Lynch , Randy and Steve Stevens.
Barry Manilow ? do you mean Neil Carter which played keys, guitar, and did vocals in this period for Gary. Or do you mean Barry Manilow was there after this perforamnce. cus Barry Manilow is not to be seen here.
One of the best guitarists to walk the earth!

When Gary Moore and Michael Schenker were the guys most likely to succeed.
GreenerHill Eddie had made his mark by then.....and then Yngwie arrived around 83

And they did big time!If you know music history that is.
Quoting Jeff Beck's "Star Cycle" @ 3:22 .
Moore and Schenker videos rule. :)
This wasn't 'The Tube' at all. It was a pilot show called ECT or something...Def Leppard, Dumpy's Ruty Nuts, Doctor & The Medics etc...
No it's not ECT, that didn't have any presenters, this is indeed the Tube
