Rang de Basanti has been taken from the famous song of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and his compatriots. This song was sung in order to raise patriotic fervour in the minds of our countrymen.
'Rang de Basanti' literally means 'Colour me saffron'. It is a very popular patriotic song since the days of our (shared) independence movement. This song was very close to the heart of many freedom fighters including Sardar Bhagat Singh. It is said that during his last days in Lahore jail Bhagat Singh used to sing this song along with his fellow 'Death Row' compatriots Rajguru and Sukhdev. This song still resonates in the hearts and minds of many Indians. There is also a very well known Hindi film by the title 'Rang de Basanti' which was released in 2006 starring Aamir Khan, Sharman Joshi, Kunal Kapoor, Soha Ali Khan among others.

আদনান ভাই , ভিডিও টা খুব সুন্দর লাগছে। তবে একটা তথ্যভিত্তিক সংযোজন করি - " রং দে বাসন্তী" একচুয়ালি আমীর খানের একটা হিট হিন্দি ফিল্মের নাম। এর সাথে গব্বর সিং বা শোলের বাসন্তীর কোনো সম্পর্ক নেই।
