Some great footage of Canberra. I live in Canberra and can assure you we do not normally have 6 degree nights during Summer. We really did not get a Summer this year. You need to come back. There is so much more to see and do. A guided tour through Parliament House is a must. It is a beautiful building with so much culture and history attached to it. The guided tours are free.
Canberra park and we highly recommend it! Great size sites and veery good amenities, nothing for kids though this didn’t bother us as there is so much to do in the area!
I just went back and watched your weigh the van episode, can I ask how the Ranger is handling the 6 t GCM? Love your rawness of showing us what it is like to start out on the road. Cheers.
Thanks Wayne! It tows the van comfortably but I really don’t like being maxed out on my weights. Time will be the biggest test to see how the Ranger goes long term. I get asked about the rangers capability quite often and I always say that it’s good and does the job well but if I could afford it I’d be in a bigger car in a heartbeat! Thanks for watching mate!

Another bit of info for you. If you are ever back in NSW near Coffs go to NRMA Darlington Beach Holiday Resort. Book a Premium slab site. You will have more room than you know what to do with and the kids will go nuts there. And for free camping check out Lara Wetlands in QLD. It is a farm stay on a cattle station near Barcaldine. Costs $25 per night but well worth a visit. Do the homestead tour if you like history.

I has been a really mild summer this year we didn't get as really hot as much it was also pretty wet. Too bad you ran into covid Canberra is a great city people never seem to give themselves enough time to enjoy it maybe you can come back give yourself plenty of time to look around and hopefully not have to book in everywhere.

Thank you so much!! Yes we have used it and it is great, no louder than a diesel heater and don’t need to worry about tipping a diesel tank 👍🏼
