That’s a crazy amount of work that goes into a cable! WOW!
love how it's made. havening a good time with POTAFLEX 7 -50 ft spool kit. testing GMRS and HF along with CB . works super. even in the snow. ran some power threw it on HF . no heat at all . SWR stayed low. did some long keys in dummy load , 600 and 1000 watts. had the dummy load toasty warm and coax cold. stays flexibly in the snow. easy to see. love that printer for coax. your discount code works on custom builds and adapters M & P makes. 73's
OutStanding!! I love his machines.
This is such a cool series you’re doing. You should make it an ongoing thing.
Hi Mike,
Enjoying these M&P factory videos. Stay safe. 73 WJ3U
Completely AMAZING! 73!
Thanks for doing these, Mike. It's fascinating to see how they make it.
Great series Mike.
Thanks Shane!
Another amazing and informative video Mike! Where's your next pilgrimage going to be to? Icom HQ in Japan maybe?
Mike! Nice, well-done series. Great work. Now I know, "How it's made" See you out there. 73 de K0WHW Bill
Freaking love it Mike!
Another excellent video. Hmmmm, my birthday is coming up so I might drop a hint with the wife. Cheers from Moose Jaw. Tim VE5THF
Mike these videos are great. Ever wonder how a guy came up with that brade weaving machine? The complexity of all this is mind boggling.
I'm still trying to wrap my head around how it works. All I know is it goes really fast!
That's a common style braiding machine that is also used for braiding rope, leather, wire, or putting a braid jacket over something, like plastic tubes...ever see those stainless steel braided hoses sold at Lowe's or Home Depot for sink and toilet water lines? The number of bobbins determines the "texture" of the braid, more bobbins results in a finer braid. Yeah, the speed at which they run is mind-boggling.
I finally got my new vanity call it was KQ4AHR now it's K4BWN maybe it will be easier to say over the air now 73
