Dan if you pulled up one more time I was going to say. Hey Dan Slide over. years ago when I was a yard bird
When we call the hall for a driver when they come back in the afternoon the boss would watch them back up
To a door if they were having trouble I'd sneak over and say slide over and sport the trailer! In those days along Time before CDL that's how you learned! How times have changed no automatic we had Quads Triplex Duplex
And on the road you drove terminal to terminal and every One looked out for the other Guy no matter who he drove for wish You could say that today!!! Stay safe. 73 Bill

    Nice one Dan.
Every day is different, every load is different. I was afraid you would have to trap that load, that wouldn't have been nice. I blew up a heavy duty battery one night many years ago. I was working late in a workshop cutting steel with disc grinder, the sparks from the steel caught the gasses coming off the battery on charge. It blew that battery into a million pieces 💥. No collateral damage, lesson learned. Enjoy the trip and with a bit of luck, you might get a load back🤞🤞

I haven't found a dealer here in Canada that won't let me or someone work on their truck in the lot. As long as it's not in frame or clutch or something major like that. Sucks dealers down that way won't let people work on their trucks.

Ya know there are some killer solar panels and inverters that you could use for this truck. Batttle Born batteries, inverter and one panel on the roof of your truck would do it. Even on cloudy days they work just fine, winter or summer. Bus Grease Monkey uses them and at first thought they were not going to work but he even has a small panel to run all his Milwaukee tools on a portable cart he shuttles around his property to work on Buses that come to be fixed.... It's really quite impressive. Anyway, just thought I'd mention. Bus Grease Monkey is his youtube handle and he posts links to the company and product a while back. Spring before last I think it was he first started using them? A client in ARizona he went to work on a Bus for had a set up for his Bus. Worth checking out at any rate. :-)

I loaded out of Fargo last week at a place called Structural Materials, Inc. Great guys, quick load. No tarp rebar. Easy. Went down to Rochester, MN with it, paid $700 to the truck. Otherwise, there's a lot of prefab concrete that comes out of somewhere on I-94 near Fergus Falls, MN and most of it goes east.

That darn off center freight gets a strap/chain through and back (not to the other rail) to the same side before strapping across the deck to keep it from walking.
1000 Amp batteries have thinner plates and more prone to breaking, mechanic advised me to sticking to 800's. Gotten so disgusted with batteries, just went with Wal-Marts where they are everywhere. Get two years figured I got my monies worth.

Most drivers and people with multiple battery set-ups don't. I do BTW. Don't like the cost but after 1 battery explosion 30 years ago I learned my lesson.
