I just bought a 23 f150 XLT, is anyone having problems with the backup camera glitching out? When I put it in reverse and it get stuck and make a noise
Ok question. Do you know a way to be able to name waypoints in the GPS? I can do Home and work. Nothing else? $140k truck and you can not do the basic functions from a 50 dollar Garmin GPS?
If they would have just built it right in the first place you wouldn't need constant updates on software. And over air updates either work or they don't but more often than not in an F vehicle they don't. And if you notice what's going on is nothing like they said it would be just like when you download it onto a USB from the Ford site.. it doesn't tell you how long it doesn't tell you if it's taking the update as well as over the air updates it doesn't show you the status or if it's updating. Sad and confusing and customers always have questions because it was poorly designed. I'm pretty sure I told you to exit and secure the vehicle. But then you chose to stay in and they gave you specific instructions on how to get out. You can't even make this stuff up
Haha. My sync 4 refuses to update and literally ALL I WANT is full screen android auto. Ive had this truck over 2 years now and have tried every youtube, google, ford pass and even said a prayer and it will not update. Ive factory reset it, connected to my wifi, bot connected to my wifi and used the trucks data, scheduled update, tried auto update, sent feedback im not getting OTA update and this system just hates me. For all kf you with full screen android auto or apple carplay im jealous.
Liberal it doesn’t take care ten it takes 8 that’s why! And u would go out the front because u don’t sit in back to do updates! You lil mind just Wonders a lot.it’s okay lil buddy thanks for your video
Interesting... I, like you, had the trailer update completed by the dealer. Will now keep an eye out to see if I get the same notice.
I'm pretty sure it'd be best to have a user-scheduled update if said update might affect a drivechain component.

Did you get the over the air update 2.8.3 which let you use your rear camera while in forward motion to see what behind you as you drive
Not yet, but that would be amazing! My Dad's Colorado does that

Do you have to be connected to wifi?
No the updates work over a cellular connection that is built into the truck. So no WiFi required

I would definitely take it to the dealership to have them manually update it
