Does your auto start stop work? Mine does this too, among other things like not being able to remote start from the app, and if left long enough, the touch sensor on the passenger door stops working. To fix all the above and the auto start stop, you need to reset the BMS. Easy to do but it’ll keep happening every couple weeks as the system believes you have a bad battery. Not sure how to fully cure it however.

Glad you caught it before you got on the road and were safe. I was towing my camper, this past Sunday, on the highway, when the bolt on my truck sheared off and destroyed my rear axle. The fallout was terrifying and expensive. The dealership had just checked it out before I left on my trip and gave it the green light. No warning.

I am experiencing a problem with the gear shift on my 2022 F-150 Lariat. The gear shift seems to be locked, and I am unable to move it out of the "reverse" position. What can I do

At least on the 2024 is you can turn this of in settings.

Does the cut out in the center line up with the Ford letters?

That was for the police folks. Laptops and so they can get out and not leave her rolling. They can also leave it permanently stowed and use a button for reverse and tap break and then hit has to select drive.

FordPass no longer supports generator control. I just confirmed that with Ford. Bummer.

I own a 2023 f150 with the max tow package and my axel bolt is broken and Ford tells me my truck it’s not covered under the recall

Is there any way to keep it on while driving on more speed? I picked up some large stuff in the truck bed and cant see behind me and used to look in the rear view mirror but mostly now its blocked

I had a creaking noise in mine. Pulled the wheels and the bolts were fine but were relatively loose. I found a thread where, although the shafts are pretorqued by the mfg., the soev was 120ft/lb. I went ahead ad tightened them and the noise is gone. Ill check each rotation until Ford comes up with a fix.

strange that I have the 5.5 ft bed and my payload capacity is less than yours but the gvwr and the max trailer gvwr are exactly the same as yours. So I understand that the longer wheelbase doesnt affect the GCWR. In that case I don't understand why my trucks payload capacity is 1462lbs.

Hey I got a 2021 f150 and I think I have the same issue! Only 23,000 miles, I noticed there’s a slight shake and my rear differential is leaking. Did you end up keeping the truck or get rid of it? I really think I’m going to switch

I think you could have left sway bars and yoke attached to the hitch head, then unbolt the back point of the yoke and the weight jack bars....then unlatch the main hitch from your ball, raise rv as high as it would go, stack cinder blocks under both sides of the frame away from your rv jack, lowered the rv jack so it rests on the cinder blocks and the jacks foot clears the yoke and then drive forward with the whole unit basically intact........just thinking outside of the box here lol

Also, my steering wheel doesn't look anything like yours, and my infotainment features are different, too. Are you driving a hybrid or a Platinum F150? Mine made no sound, I noticed a oil seeping out through that center cap, this was before the recall and the service dept. said stop scrubbing your tires! I was like i am 65 I don't scrub tires.

Same problem here, first F-150 and it will be the last! To many recalls on a single vehicle!

Dumbest thing I ever saw.

My 2021 F150 replace twice. First time 50,000,second one 121000

I’ve had mine replaced 3 times. The last time the hub and brakes were also replaced. 58k miles.

My dealer has been saying Q3 for the past 6 months.

Yep, I have a 2021 and same thing happens at random times. The gauges will also reset to default occasionally as well.

I just did an update. Now my display automatically goes into settings. Each time truck is started ? Great...........

Looking at a 2021, with max tow it’s priced better then other trucks around and I’m pretty sure this may be the reason why! Have you had any other issues?

Unreal. This recall applies to my 2021 and I was just told by my dealer that i could be charged for the diagnostic if they don't find the issue.

I'm taking mine in next week for the usual +this recall, and check out this line item: REAR AXLE HALF-SHAFT AND HUB ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT

How is the ride with no weight in the bed and not pulling anything?
