You can leave your standoffs on year round. If you have dual carbs, you'll need to cover them up when you park (plastic bags work great!). If you have a single carb with a stock air cleaner, you don't have to mess with it at all. Hope this helps! ~The Gang
Thanks! We actually have a special on the hoodlum and deck lid stand offs right now. If you haven't already got them, use the code: WGSUMMER at checkout, good til the end of June. Let us know how it goes man!
Hey quick question for you, For rain im assuming you need to put your engine cover backon with out the stand offs correct? Unless you have a water proof kit? Im new to this and just bought a stand off kit but debating on putting it in this far in augest
Thanks Rudolph, but we're sorry to hear that you had issues with our instructions. What part did you have troubles with? We're always looking for ways to improve our services!
I have the stock bumpers on my 66. No matter how I adjust the kit and deck lid, the deck lid hits my bumper. The car in the video does not look like it has stock bumpers. How do I fix this? a ton of washers in the very back bolt on each side? Thanks!
I got the same problem with the bonnet not clearing the top of the Euro blade bumpers, by about an inch. What does flipping them get me? Or maybe I get longer rear bumper mounting brackets? Would suck to have to buy more items to get this to clear a stock bumper. :(
What year air cleaner did you use? I have a 68 and the spring won't clear the air filter. Basically the hoodlum is now useless because I had to remove the spring in order to put the deck lid back on.
That's good question someone asked what about when it rains do you put it back to stock is this something that you use only for like summertime correct sorry for the stupid question hope to get an answer thank you.

A lot of time we will have to space the bumper out til it clears, or flip the bumper over

You can oval/elongate the holes on the bumper bracket so you can pull the bumper out further
I'm about the get the hoodlum from your site, but I want to add quick release pins. Can you tell me how to remove the hinges? Thanks
