So an early deck can be fitted too if you have a late apron? Which I think obviously it just won't lock to the hinge or not?

Yea, it won’t lock, it just lays there on the apron. All most all Beetle parts are interchangeable throughout the years.

I honestly don’t think you can tell? Like from a camera point of view no I don’t think it’s very distinct. Maybe in person? But good video lol anyone close enough to tell you gotta tell them to back up! 😂🖤

Seriously though, I’ve had a ton of cool rat rods and what not. My first one was a ‘53 Plymouth Business Coupe that was flat black and slammed. I remember people really didn’t know what to think of it, lol.
