I'm also planning on going single turbo on my r32. Few questions: What bov do you have? Do you have forged rods and pistons? What other supporting mods do you have? Thanks!
Hey! That's a great question - the car is owned by a friend of mine so I'll have to double check with him. Off the top if my head, definitely running forged internals and Tial BOV & Gate I believe. Exhaust is 3.5" from the turbo back and tuned with a link ECU with plenty of safety features and additional sensors working their magic. If there's anything more specific you're after, let me know and I'll ask him 🙂
Sounds glorious. What turbo you running? I've just completed a build on my r32 with a GTX3582 Gen2. Not sure the GTX sounds this good as I haven't even driven it yet, but it made 476KW at the wheels @ 29psi on a roller dyno. Juts living vicariously through youtube videos at the moment lol. Can't wait. Also, those look like NZ South Island roads! If that's the case, the envy I have for you is out of this world, much like your part of the world. I was there a few years back and remember distinctly thinking that "this is real GTR country". Boy oh boy, you must love banging through gears there.
Hey man! Not 100% sure on exact model other than Borgwarner. The car belongs to a friend of mine so I'll flick him a message and try and find out. 476kw atw is nothing to sneeze at, that's serious power! My little STi (see other videos) is a mere 200 and it's still plenty for the street. And yes, you guessed right haha. South Island of NZ. A few lumpy bits but generally speaking pretty good roads and insane scenery. We're pretty bloody lucky to call this place home 🙂
@@hamish_does_stuff Borgies always sound really good. You’re very lucky over there, what you call a little lumpy in places is what I call pristine condition relative to Victorian roads 🤣 I’m glad it’s a short plane ride over and look forward to heading over again as soon as possible. Next time I’ll hire something a little nicer than a RAV4 though!!!
What a wonderful place.. I love the sound of RB26, but the native RB20E sounds much more familiar xD The sound that has been with me for more than 10 years (33 sedan). I would love to take a ride with my 4-wheeled friend in your area!
R32, Dream car.
Yeah she's pretty sweet! Definitely wouldn't mind having one.
My dream r33 gtr
RB26の音、良く録音出来てますね❗日本から❗
Thanks so much! It definitely came out as good as I'd hoped.
