☺ ABOUT THIS SERIES
In this series the Royal Enfield Himalayan is ridden roughly 2,000 miles (3,219km) to the far, northern coast of Alaska to the infamous Prudhoe Bay area and neighboring Deadhorse, AK. At 70°N latitude, the "Top of Alaska" can be an unforgiving place, especially in late-summer and early fall when the weather can abruptly shift as the seasons fight for dominance. Winter will of course prevail over summer, which left me little time to relax. Snow, slush and ice were in fact on the itinerary for this adventurous trip.
As my first "true" motorcycle adventure, complete with many hundreds of miles of gravel and mud, both the Himalayan and I were tested and pushed to some limits, if only briefly.
Join the ride and see for yourself how the Royal Enfield Himalayan holds up to a first-ever attempt at reaching Prudhoe Bay, one of the most northerly area accessible by road in the world. Expect to see some wonderful scenery, spectacular wildlife, and many friendly faces as the adventure unfolds.
I'd like to say a special thank you to Mosko Moto for helping me outfit my Himalayan with their adventure gear that truly sets the standard for soft motorcycle luggage and equipment. You guys are the best! Thanks so much!
Wow, so you're starting off from where itchy boots' gonna end her epic trip 😛
Been waiting for this, great camera angles and footage as usual of you, with stunning scenery already. Happy riding 👍👍
And hey, love the loaded bike and the cabin in the dark 😄
Thanks for watching and writing Sreeprakash! We'll all get to the see the cabin in the daylight soon! 🙂
She is now back here in The Netherlands, het bike is still in Peru.
Such a hassle for her.
Is it you? is it the himalayan ?is it the scenery?......nope!!!!! it's all three😊 that's why we watch your channel ..ATB Justin. ...cheers from dave..ps do we really need 100 bhp(would be nice😉) when 25 bhp carries all what you have ....long live the himalayan..👍
Such a great comment! Good to hear from you! And yup, the Himalayan's little powerhouse did the trick. It was perfect. 👍🙂
YOUR MESSAGE FILLED MY HEART WITH EMOTIONS !!!!!!!LOVE FROM INDIA!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome that you folks have a remote cabin. Even though my wife and I live very rural here in Alaska, we also have a remote cabin that we enjoy going to as well. The cabins can be a great place to "get away" for a while now and then. Looks like your cabin interior is quite comfy.
The cabin is getting more and more comfortable all the time. Too bad this whole summer I was so busy renovating a new home that I didn't even go to the cabin once. But I'll be zipping out there this winter. I could use more motorcycling weather right now, but at least I can do some winter smowmachine riding too!
Excitement!! And the 6x6 was a pleasant surprise, felt like out of spy movie 😄
Eagerly waiting on daytime shots of that cabin!! All the best for your work on it 👌
Thanks Pulkit! Cheers from Allaska! 🙂
You are indeed dedicated.. How did you get all the materials there? Why so far off the road! who maintains the access.. is this your bug out hideaway for when the monetary system craters? With a garden and some chickens, would be Chris Martenson approved!
Lots of questions! that obviously never went in.
Another great series to look forward to. Thanks for taking us “Southerners” with you.
Holy cow, that cabin is way out there in Sasquatch country. It's amazing how they built bridges and the wooden trail over the bog area in such a remote area, it's pretty impressive.
Perhaps a Squatch was captured on the trail cam. You'll have to watch Part 2 to find out. 😃
And yeah, I totally agree about the bridge and trail work. Pretty amazing, and boy does it ever help.
Yea I keep expecting him to arrive and he kept going and going.
Looks nicer inside than I was expecting too.
Hi friend how are you. . awesome place ad natural beauty u show in this video awesome ..I can't go there ever but watching this through u makes my life full ..I love this types of loneliness in deep jungle green leaves bikes goes through that offff no words ..I wish if there is 2nd life after death I want born in Alaska or in Canada ..so I can fulfill my dream.....ad nice forest house inside ....I have Royal Enfield classic ..I watched that ur bike performing good under that hill type condition ..
Hey! He’s back. And well worth the wait, been looking forward to this trip.
You’re not wrong about the weather being totally screwed up, severe drought and catastrophic fire conditions into our summer down here in Aus.
Great Cabin, nice and remote by the look.
Thanks about the cabin! Yup, fairly remote, just the way I like it.
As for the weather... it's raining in Alaska today and all the snow in the neighborhood is gone. Not cool.
Love your videos and was glad to see a new one! Due to you and others I purchased a Himalayan, it'll be my first bike and living in Montana I thought it would fit right in, should be getting it in a week or two. Thanks also for posting all your equipment and links, I'll be adding some of it onto my machine when I get it.
Super awesome! You'll fill me in how you like it when you get it. Yup, perfect for Montana. 👍
While leaving a particular place, a hotel, a station, or just people that guys like you meet along the way, those rear view clips have a different emotion. Kinda like the things you leave behind. Love those.
Let me tell you, I've been really excited to share that particular clip. Glad you liked it! 🙂
@@KARMAkazeMoto Looking forward to seeing more of those
Awesome video. Well worth waiting for. My wife is Thai and i never thought i would see a Thai restaurant on an Alaskan highway lol. It's worrying to hear about the weather situation there, climate change is affecting everywhere now even the UK. Let's hope it's not too late to do something.
Thanks for watching Paul!
And I appreciate the weather concerns. The trend is a bit alarming. Middle of winter here and we just had a rain storm. All the snow in the neighborhood melted. Hard to believe. Luckily I still have snow at the cabin. Headed there tomorrow to string lights for New Years.
Happy Holidays to you and cheers form Alaska! 🍻
Loving the single cylinder tractor sound! Lot’s of electronics to keep up with. Thanks for the effort that takes.
Wow. Superb episode. That 4 wheel hunting machine is awesome . That drive to your cabin in the deep woods and lake felt like paradise. That Thai food in middle of no where must be a privilege . Thanks for sharing :) 👌👍
Great vlog.
Even in the middle of nowhere you can come across a Thai resto... with that Thai smile...
Regards from NE Thailand...
I keep eating there just to support that place, and crew. 🙂
Ok, plus I love Thai food. 🍜
Thanks for writing. All the best from Alaska!
@@KARMAkazeMoto That Thai place reminds me of a Chinese restaurant that I found in Piteå, a village in northern Sweden, 30 years ago.
It was run by a Chinese immigrant family that spoke Chinese and English..
It also reminds me of a hostel in Fairbanks, Alaska, run by a guy who had been raised in Hawaii.
Some people seem to prefer to live "Elsewhere".
Great bike! Great driver! Breathtaking landscape! Greatings from germany, a Himlayan owner.
Good to hear from you Hans! Thanks for the encouraging words. All the best!
Had questions about your hideaway.. My comment appears to be there but obviously isnt.. Censored, gaslighted.. shadow banned? Take your pick. But whatever you do, don't talk politics.😲
I'll look for it...
Hy hi!! So how about ktm adventure 390 in comparison to himalayan!! Any idea!!?
Great to see you out adventuring again and I am very much looking forward to the series. I just bought a Himalayan, and it should be delivered to me in Skagway next week (also got mine from NW Moto). So there is a good chance I'll be following in your footsteps in the near future. Thank you for blazing the trail. And I'm hopeful that maybe we'll get to see Noraly next summer?... we shall see where she ends up.
Oh... and I can tell you that I've been in Alaska for 25 years, and never saw a summer as hot and dry as this past one. But this seems to be the new "normal".
Hey Mike, good to hear from you. Can't wait to get the report after the bike arrives. So cool that you pulled it off. 🍻
@@KARMAkazeMoto I figured I already bought the handguards you suggested last summer. So I might as well get the bike to go with them.
😂 Good plan!
Best part of this vid (apart of loads of other great aspects of course ;-) ) is the engine sound. It helps to get the right feeling of what it's like to ride a Hima. Stay safe
Will do, W V, and thanks for picking up on that engine recording work. 🙂
Awesome stuff , can't wait for the next episode , if there was one other place i would live apart from here in Australia , without a shadow of a doubt it would be Alaska , what a stunning place , that cabin would suit me down to the ground , brilliant.
😀 Looking forward to to sharing the trail camera videos. Stay tuned.
Great video. Beautiful scenery and the bike looks really awesome. You have quite the driveway! Still a wild place but greate to have Thai food! It is sad that people in power are in denial about climate change when evidence is right in front of them. Thanks for taking me along.
You're telling me, that Thai place is SO PERFECTLY LOCATED for me to get something zesty and spicy after a couple weeks at the cabin!
Regarding the climate concerns, I don't blame a lot of people for being stubborn about climate change or if/why we should do anything about it. There's a ton of compelling information that, when viewed without the complete picture, gives people a skewed impression about Earth's climate history. A perfect example is the fact that Alaska use to be warmer with much more dense forest, almost-tropical like conditions, that resulted in all the oil deposits. That is soooo true! However, at that time (60-250 million years ago) Alaska was also much closer to the equator. When you leave that part about the equator out of the picture (not to mention tons more active volcanoes and greenhouse gases), it gives people the idea that the climate at this latitude use to be downright HOT, and will be warm again as part of a regular cycle. Get's confusing for folks. I blame leadership and inadequate education for anyone's misunderstanding of things.
What I like to say is... none of it matters. None of the past matters. We weren't on the planet then. We're here now. And now is the time that our environment has been so stable, so predictable and easy, that' we've been able to thrive as a species. We can either take part in positive behaviors that help us maintain our quality of life, or negative behaviors. We just need farmers in Nebraska to get enough rain, to grow enough corn, to make enough taco shells for Taco Bell.🌮 And for cows in Wisconsin to have enough grass to eat, to produce enough milk, to put enough cheese on our pizzas. 🍕 Is that so much to ask for? 😜 Oh, and let's not forget about hops for beer! 🍻😆
Well, thanks for getting my creative writing juice flowing! All in good fun! 😉
Late to the party, but you're in the groove now. Great filming, music and editing
Enjoying this series quite a bit. You are another excellent ambassador representing the Enfield "H".
Of course the first place ambassador has blonde hair and striking blue eyes, plus a killer accent.
Awesome, glad to have another trip to watch , awesome scenery and a cool 6x6 ride to the cabin man!
Thanks mate! Was really excited to start sharing this one. The best is yet to come! 👍🙂
Really looking forward to it 😊😊
Love your videos and really look forward to the other parts. One suggestion for your editing, when you are talking it would help to have the music volume lower. For those of us with tinnitus the background music can make it hard to hear what you are saying. Keep up the great work.
Noted! I spent a lot of time trying to get the levels just perfect. I found it really depends on the speakers and sometimes other device audio settings. May I ask what your setup is? Even if you're just using your phone, it's good to know. Glad you like the videos! 👍🙂
KARMAkaze Moto I was watching first on my tv. Even tried on the phone using AirPods to listen. Please keep the videos coming. Between you and Itchy Boots you’ve got me really wanting a Himalayan. Absolutely love seeing more of Alaska.
@@markowsley4954 I suspect you're not the only one with the same experience. Thanks!
KARMAkaze Moto
Yeah, I don’t think you quite understand the medical issue.... with multiple sources of sound, people with certain ear issues, such as tinnitus, all of the sounds bleed together, so we can’t distinguish one from the other.... it doesn’t matter if we are standing in the middle of an eight speaker surround sound system and the music is coming from the front four, the motor sounds from the rear one and the bass and your speech from the rear right speaker... it all sounds like the same gunk in our ears. I don’t know what caused the other person’s problems, but mine are from loud explosions and all my inner ear bones breaking in a car accident impact. (Side note, if you are going to be in a car accident, be in a car, standing on the sidewalk was poor planning on my part).
I get it, until you have a hearing problem, you won’t understand what hearing problems are like, but trust me when I say, if you want us to hear what you are saying, turnoff all music and speak clearly much louder than the background (motorcycle) noises... that or turn off ALL other noises. Most (not all) of us can distinguish between speech and ONE other source of noise (such as the motorcycle), but adding sources of noise makes it worse, and if the two sources of noise sound at all like your talking (such as a human speaking or a human singing), than two is one too many.....
@@KARMAkazeMoto Agree! The music is Way too loud. I generally watch at night when all the others are sleeping. I turn up the volume so I can easily hear you, then the music starts blaring, and I am franticly turning it down, then back up when you speak. A better balance is needed.
U have great skills of editing n narrating.
Learning n aspiring traveller just like u bro 🥰
Studying environmental science down here in Aotearoa NZ.
The scientist part of me really "enjoyed" (appreciated) seeing some of your first hand accounts of the effects that our
anthropogenic driven climate change is causing mother earth.
Even down here (like everywhere) we're certainly not immune. Looking the data (and just visiting the actual glaciers) we're pretty certain there'll be none of them left. Which in itself causes negative flow on effects. Already with a large number gone/diminished, we're seeing effects on rainfall patterns (lack of/long droughts/or torrential flooding).
Sorry Haha, I was supposed to come on here to praise our good mahi 😆
Thanks for the feedback! 🙂
I had a viewer sort of flip out as a result of my comments, citing that Alaskans get money as a result of oil, which was formed when AK had a much warmer climate, so actually the climate is cooler than it once was, etc.
They were so rude and obsessive that I simply banned them from my channel. I didn't bother pointing out that our oil formations are dated to conditions and geology from 60-80 million years ago... when AK was much closer to the equator, before plate tectonics shifted it to our current latitude and cooler climate.
So many facts, so little time in life to argue with everyone. 🙄😉
Desperately waiting for part 2
Love your videos!
Hugs from Portugal 🇵🇹
Background music was superb and felt the live of your ride... Awesome Justin..!!! Early waiting for the next part.
Thank you so much Kiran! I'm glad you liked it.
Great video. Can't wait to see the next episode. These bikes seem very usable and no nonsense
That it is, Rob. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Great video again. You 're livin' in one of the most beautiful areas of this world thank you for taking us with you, looking forward for the next episode
I'm working on that next one steadily. Won't be long!
Wonderful cabin! Brilliant vlog. Loved your cabin in the Alaskan wilderness. It's so brave of you really. Hope The Himalayan is keeping up. Kudos little brother!
Thanks so much Ravikiran. I'll be sure to share a tour around the cabin in the next video. 🙂
I love Summit Lake out there on the Willow side :) You passed the spot where I laid my bike down a month before this was taken XD Sweet cabin, more than what most can/are willing to build on their own for sure, especially in AK c:
Hey, thanks Tony! Sorry to hear about the wipeout though. My assumption is you and the bike were mostly ok. Hope so! 🙂
Bloody awesome, your editing is spot on every time Justin. Your cabin is really way out there man, how on earth do you get the materials out there to build it? Looks great. You think you got it dry out there, we’re literally burning here. The landscape out bush looks dead the trees are so stressed and it’s only beginning of the season. Anyway, brilliant video mate, love your work. Good to see the old Himalayan fully decked out. ATB Jason.
Thanks Jason!
Best way to haul materials is in winter. Just toss what you can in a cargo sled and pull it behind a snowmachine. Works best if the trial is nicely packed of course.
I sometimes haul things in summer. Each summer I've been able to do that more and more as the turf gets more and more dry.
I'm bummed about your situation there with those fires. We had a lot of fires here as well. I need to do work around my cabin to protect it. But I know things were really bad there. Feel bad for those koalas.
Good to hear from you, and thanks again. Cheers from Alaska!
KARMAkaze Moto yeah, it’s heart breaking seeing how not only the bushland is devastated but the poor wildlife stuck it it’s path. It’s going to be a long season this year unless the weather breaks. Crazy stuff. ATB Jason.
Hello!! I've been following you for a while. I have a himalayan (up to some extend, your videos gave me confidence on this bike), and I'm trying to get the best of it in the Pyrenees. So far the bike has proven to be unstoppable no matter the weather or environment. Thanks for that, and keep doing this amazing videos :)
Thanks for writing Guillem, and congratulations on that Himalayan! 🙂
Brilliant! been waiting for this to come out - epic scenery and a great adventure :-)
Appreciate the positive feedback. Thanks!
Will be following along for this one. Have 8-10 inches of snow here so riding is limited. These types of videos always help!
We're getting rained on in Alaska. Bizarre. All the snow is gone from the neighborhood. Still about 16 inches of snow at the cabin a couple hours north. This video was filmed in August, just in the nick of time. 🙂
What an incredible place you have there. I´d live there in a heartbeat, 6-wheelers and all... :D
Welcome back!
Thanks 1650million!
Awesome vlog man.. Can really feel that freedom when you go for a road trip! Keep up the good work buddy!
Thanks Harry!
I am so jealous what a wonderful place to live and ride thru. The random Thai restaurant and a hidden quad in a forest to a hideaway .... Not in the U.K. lol amazing 👍👍
Yeah it would get nicked.
Yup, still plenty of open spaces here. Could be years before anyone stumbles across my ATV. Fingers crossed they're law abiding dogooders like myself. 😀
Aah finally, I almost forgot about this series. I've been waiting for it for so long now. Great start of the series, looking forward to next episodes.
Thanks for being patient! Glad you liked it.
Trailer and cabin in the woods was a surprise.
Nice background music 👌
Good to meet the Michigan people.
Thai food & 3 ladies waving behind 🤪
So much hard work you must be feeling your back broken in the night 😆😂
Anyway thanks and looking forward to this trip 😊
I'm glad you liked all that. I was looking forward to giving people a unique experience and learning about about my life here. Thanks for writing Meena, and stay tuned for Part 2!
@@KARMAkazeMoto eagerly waiting for your second part
6 wheeler and a cabin, who would have thought. Great to see you back again.
I was hoping some people might have found that interesting. Such fun! Thanks for watching and commenting! 🙂
Nice video. Great video of Alaska. It's beautiful.
The spot should be attached to you... if you are riding in the back of nowhere and go down, you need to be able to reach it where you land. Arachnid it to you where your chest and shoulder meet,it will be out of your way, and easily reachable...
Nice vid.
Hi Justin I'm from India, just two days before I was just searching Himalayan on TH-cam hence I got u with your six episodes of Seattle to Alaska and now I stopped thinking of Himalayan, but enjoying your videos what a lovely place you are living in their, feeling jealous, just kidding.... Hope you do more these kind of videos and enjoy the whole life and be happy....
Thanks Umar, glad you liked my trip and video work. Part 2 of the Prudhoe Bay trip should be posted tomorrow. It's quite different from the average Moto vid. Hope you like it.
Love your videos, effortless watching , serenity on two wheels , love the truck stop ✋ scenery fabulous.
Hoping you're going to like Part 2. If you can get through the cabin your I think you'll appreciate it.
Woot! We have been patiently waiting! Great job, I can wait to follow your journey!
Good to hear from you, thanks Man! 🙂 Hope you've got some big plans next spring.
I’ll be making an epic trip from MD to Montana next year! Want to meet me there? We can do a dual VLOG and meet in the middle in Montana :)
Have been waiting with great anticipation. You didn't disappoint. Great video. Not the normal Prudhoe Bay motorcycle adventure video so far. Yes climate change is a reality. The arctic is getting the brunt of change, the fastest.
Thanks Dennis! Glad you liked it, and thanks for having my back on the Arctic conditions. 😀
Awesome video! love the new gear.. looks sweet on the Himalayan! waiting for part 2!
Great video!!!! Wonderful travelling with you to Alaska from Spain!!! Keep on...... rocking on your motorbike!!!!
Wow. The trip and Himalayan are awesome as are your video and narration skills. Thanks....can't wait to see other parts!
I've got many hours of editing ahead of me, but I'm eager for the upcoming episodes as well. Always a surprise how they come together. Thanks Ron!
Hi there, Dave from France here. I love watching your videos because they are so down to Earth and real. Just Googled your trip Michigan to Prudhoe Bay - it's 4,000 mls. Are you staying there or will you eventually loop back somehow to Michigan. I didn't realise it is quite that far !!!!
It’s underpowered, it rattles, its bare bones!! But once you own one you fall in love. I’ve been riding royal enfield for 20yrs, still can’t imagine owning any other bike!!
I've really enjoyed mine, and having another larger faster bike in the garage, I don't mind take it easy on the Himalayan. It pulls both my wife and I just fine. That was surprising. Power was just enough assuming we aren't trying to race anyone. 🙂
I'm proud to see a made in India bike doing pretty well and being trusted to save ur life.
So well thought out. Great build!
Nice one , great set up you've got with both bike and remote cabin.looking forward to future episodes thanks for taking the time and effort for showing us around .
Thanks for taking the time to pass along some positive feedback. 🙂
Good to see you back on the road again, Thoroughly enjoy your videos. Stay safe out there 👍
Will do, thanks for writing!
Great video! Would you consider giving us a detailed review of the Backcountry panniers? I'm debating between the panniers and Mosko's reckless 80.
Great vlog so far, love the trip to the cabin! Your doing what most only dream about. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Bob! Glad you liked that cabin run. There'll be more on that in the next episode. Thanks for the positive feedback!
You are so underrated. Just plan an Indian road trip and see your channel blow up. You deserve more. Plan a Ladakh road trip the least. You'll not regret.
I always enjoy your videos!
also, Yay for being automatically entered :-D
I've been following you since the time you started this series. Don't know why didn't commect it back then but I just wanna say I love you 3000 ❤for doing this - from a fellow himalayan rider :)
Wow Karan, thanks so much! 🙏
I've only just found these videos after researching the bike. Mate, your video and audio quality is perfect for what you're doing! Could you tell me what camera/audio kit you're using for the videos? I don't post online but have done my own videos previously (years ago) just for my own reference. Your kit gives such good results I'm interested in what you use.
I'll be watching the rest of your videos too, really engaging and informative. Go you!!!
Hope to hear from you soon.
Pete
Thanks for this, Jusitn, great vid! Lot of memories for me, as my own 2016 circumnavigate of South Central started out so similar. Looking forward to the rest of the series!
Good to hear from you, thanks Allen! I'm working hard on Part 2!
Are you getting rained on today too? This weather is nuts.
Yeah, weather is nuts all right! Heavy wind last night, with rain (a number of people still w/o power), some wind tonight, more rain on it's way. At least it's not bitter cold with all the wind! Thanks for the reply.....cheers!
I exchanged messages with you about a year ago. I bought my Himalayan. Love it! I'm going to have to share a video with you. Once I get all that figured out.
For sure Rich! I'll watch for it.
And good timing writing just now. Part 2 of this series is uploading as I type. Should be posted by this time tomorrow.
Glad you're liking that bike! 👍🙂
You must be super organized.. there's a MC under there somewhere. 😲
at what point does one say, I think I need a van! For longer trips we carry the H on the back of our astro but we also pack along our shepherd. We use the van as a base camp doing daytrips with the bike. Maybe considered cheating, but it works.
😆 It's quite a lot of stuff alright! I've been called a lot of things, but never organized! That's a first! 😉
But seriously, with the camera gear, drones, and needing cold weather gear and sleeping bag, things do tend to bulk up. Not really heavy, just bulky. But I may enlist my Land Cruiser on a future adventure. Not a bad idea. Needed to prove my metal without a support vehicle first. 💪
Thanks for watching Carol. Good to hear from you again.

You make great videos dude! Ive been waiting for part two of this for some time but now that I'm locked down in NYC on a great riding day I'm even more compelled to live vicariously through others! When can we expect more video of this trip. Hope all is well in the North 'cause it's hairy down here.
I don't why, but i feel the same :D waiting for part 2 for like 5 months...
Just fantastic stunning scenery wow Kenneth Uk keep it coming thanks
The Jerrycans look awesome, it's a mule of a bike go anywhere , would love one ☝️ very inspirational.
Nice! I live in Grand Rapids and just got a Himalayan. Excited for the summer :)
Great work mate, looks like a great adventure, keep up the good work
Will do! Glad you approve. Hopefully I can get the next episodes out quickly.
Justin, where you been ? Haven't seen anything from you in a few months. Hope all's well !
Nice to see you back on TH-cam
Another awesome video. Can't wait for part 2. Looks like the Himalayan is holding up well.
Yes it is. Thanks Craig!
16:54 beautiful shot. Love your editing. Have a safe trip.
Thanks! I was really excited to use that clip. 🙂
thumbs up to the thai food-very friendly. I've just bought my 2nd Himalayan & love it. I love your set up-especially interested in your tank bag-did it fit the Himalayan tank ok? What Mosko model is it? Can you still fill fuel tank ok? Fabulous video & very impressed with what you've done with your cabin-Bravo & full marks! As a matter of interest what editing software do you prefer to use?
Another amazing trip! Congratulations for the quality of your videos...
Greetings from brazil!
Thank you very much! Cheers from Alaska!
Where have you gone? Hope all is well.
OMG, here afer a long time, I subscribed when you put up 1st episode of seatttle to alaska himalaya. i watched until 4 episode and then i got busy with things. Now ,i've moved from india to new york for grad school and its so good to see you still enjoying the Himalaya. waiting for next episode of this series. Hope to see you somewhere while riding in future. :)
Welcome to America my friend! I hope you're enjoying New York. I love hearing your story. First chance you get make plans for a visit to Alaska. 😀
Glad to see you back on deck Justin
Great vlog and editing and I think yours is one of the very best of the moto vlogs out there in my humble opinion. I follow a few moto travellers and watch TH-cam on my Roku & TV. Good travellin' to ye and stay safe.
Thanks for the kind words Vern! I do put a lot of hours into my videos. I hope to get the next part out before long.
Hey Justin! Waited so long for a new video! But I watched the older ones, because I bought a Himalayan myself and I get it in March. So I am very interestet in the parts you introduced. Thank you for this helpful videos. I think I will take this engine-guards, but from Kappa, they are similar to Givi, and maybe this handguards. I'm not sure of the chain-oiler. What is your long-term experience with it?
I love your Quad in the woods, and the hut in the middle of nowhere. What I've seen, your hut looks great inside. I think that's what every man ist dreaming of! Can't wait for the next episode! I give you a big thumb up, Man!👍👍 Okay, two thumbs!😉
Good to see you again Mark! Thanks so much for all the positive feedback, and I'm glad to hear you have a Himalayan on the way. Congratulations! About that oiler, it has held up really well and I've been really happy to have it. It's important to have that nozzle down behind that sprocket guard. It doesn't use up much of the oil. You can do over 3000km and only have to refill it once during the trip. It's nice to not to worry about the chain. I have enough other stuff to worry about, like camera gear getting wet. :)
The chain stays cleaner, and the oil delivery is constant versus a single application that wears away quickly. After this trip I'm a bigger fan of the oiler than before. That's the truth.
Hey Justin! Are you okay in Alaska? Still waiting for Part Two. Maybe you have a lot of work to do. But you will go on with your TH-cam-Channel, right?
Sweet deal. Glad you are uploading in the winter while my bike (and me) hibernates
I hear ya! My bikes look pitiful all jammed in the garage to make room for the Jeep. The hibernation is well underway. Happy to provide some entertainment while awaiting spring. 👍
Awesome Justin! keep em coming, waiting for the unravelling of this new series!
Thanks! Good to hear from you. Hope Columbia is treating you well!
Love from India 🇮🇳.... thanks for choosing Indian bike company.... keep riding ......do a India trip
Cheers from Alaska! Thanks for writing Preetesh.
I was hoping to do an India trip this year, but I may it might have to wait unless I end up with a lot of sponsorships from subscribers. 😉
@@KARMAkazeMoto Sure..... foreigners come to India to get subscribers 😉........try to come in months of may June...... otherwise you will feel too hot to ride......In India every biker dream is to ride on world's highest motorable road and many other mountains such as : SPITI VALLEY , SOLANG VALLEY , Chitkul, etc
@@KARMAkazeMoto if you want to stay free anywhere in the world you can use couchsurfers , Atleast you can get one request accepted in metropolitan cities in India
@@KnowRealIndia9124 trust me when I say I don't wont to come for subscribers. I want to come to have an amazing experience and share it with everyone in a way that no other moto vlogger has. Riding around is one thing, but I prefer to show more of the people, culture and out-of-the-way places less visited. Of course, I do intend to ride in the Himalayas. 🙂
@@KARMAkazeMoto Thank you so much......ok take your time.... prepare well ..... waiting for your upcoming videos.....Chao✌️
Glad to see you again, great journeys ahead in 2020
Wow, can't believe the work that has gone into building the trail into the area where your cabin is, with the bridges and timber in the swampy bits. It that all just individuals doing the work, or is the state involved in that at all? Were truck involved, or is it the material coming in on ATV's? Are permits required for that sort of thing? That is one gnarly trial to get into your cabin! Beautiful cabin BTW!!
Thanks Bruce!
Trail work has been done by local land owners over the years. There's a tractor out there for some grading, digging and hauling. But a lot of haul is done with snowmobiles in the winter. Similar to how I hauled much of the cabin lumber. It's pretty wild.
Great video!!! And you also do terrific job of video editing!!!! Afraid I don’t have those skills yet. 😀
Thanks! Told I'd get around to responding. 😀👍
KARMAkaze Moto Man of your word. 😀👍
Great setup ! I have the same side bags( haven’t done a long ride yet with this ) , have you modified the right side frame mount to allow for some gap between the exhaust pipe and the bag ?
No wonder you haven't posted many videos lately. You're making yourself a "labor camp" a.k.a cabin in the woods. I made one two years ago with an added sauna cottage and I can say you'll never run out of stuff to do when you have a cabin.
Cabins are worse than boats I presume. One big expensive hobby. Although, in my case I can at least call it a home if need be. Sure would save on rent. 🙂
Great video... Looking forward to part 2.
Thank you for sharing 👍
Part 2 is underway! 👍
Your Thai prononciation is not too bad 😁😁
Very different adventure up there compare to what we have here in Thailand !
Love your videos 👍
Cheers
Fred
Ha, thanks Fred! I try! 😀
You do some motorcycling there? What are you riding?
@@KARMAkazeMoto
I'm riding my motorcycle every day !
Thailand is a paradise for riders especially the northern part of the country. You can find very nice roads and trails here.
If you've never been here, you should think about doing a motorcycle trip here, great experience !
@@KARMAkazeMoto
I'm riding a Honda cb500x with 50/50 tires. I'm planning to buy a crf or a klx for more trails riding for Laos and Cambodia 😁
Fantastic video of a Brilliant Bike in some of the worlds best scenery 👍👍👍. Very jealous as I am far too tall for the Himalayan 😠😠😠 (not to mention that my 5XL helmet is far too noisy for a microphone but it is the only helmet that will fit my ridiculously large and empty head 😠😠😠)
By your description you might want to change your profile name to Juggernaut! 😀
At least that's what I pictured in my mind. That's a good size helmet. A bummer the Himalayan is too small. What are you riding now?
@@KARMAkazeMoto Happily bumbling around on an NC750X. It occasionally goes on gravel tracks but 99.9% of the time it stays on the tarmac. Given my skill level I will never go off road on a bike that size but thankfully I am surrounded by interesting back roads.
Love those MOSKO bags and panniers, great videos, stay safe. 👍🥃🏴
They make me feel sort of... pro. 😀
Mosko's good stuff. Was happy to have it.
came here for the bike....subscribed and stayed on for your video....great editing.
Oh wow, thanks Priyall! You're now entered to win a tank bag! Stay tuned.
This series should also be up on Netflix!!!
Targeting wider audience it deserves
Nice compliment! 💛💛💛 🙏
