Yup same here that machine was only on its second use when I had it because he just sold his other 2 used 15’s supposed to be getting another sc15 soon
I have had a SC-16 for 12 years now not to many issues with it over 800 face cords with it this year going back to the factory to be refurbished spring of 2023 as I have got it pretty worn out good cutting and stay safe
Yeah I’m thinking about getting a processor. It’s a no brainer to get one when your comparing the cost of it to profits and time saved. Nice machine for sure. I’m looking at the Japa 405 with the perfect split system though. Need my splits small. Trying to find one to demo next.
hi there they make a nice machine ran one for 4 days a while back best i could do was 1 1/4 pre hour . had it for 5 days , 2nd time around the same , a presser needs a large support staff , good job john
Your going to need 3 people for sure to maximize it 4 if your taking the wood somewhere else 1 to load the deck 1 to run the controls 1 to just overlook and clean out under the machine/maintain it while using and a driver to take the wood elsewhere if need be. 2 people at the least. If your not doing at least a cord an hour your wasting your time. The key is prep work 100% you can do 4-6 face a hour if your prepped correctly
These machines are great untill 1400 hours and then they are wore out. logs have to be straight and 12 to 16 inch any crooked logs or under 6 inch they wont cut they wont split fan belt breaks alot and load table and discharge shute does not swivel have to move machine alot.. Dyna firewood processor knows i have told them many times. You buy one your stuck with there service and blab blab from factory........
yeah definitely not my cup of tea I wouldn't rent it again let alone buy one. The splits were so big I had to resplit everything at least once some pieces twice. Will fly through the wood if your doing boiler wood though. bug hunky stuff is all this machine is good for, the exact opposite of what i need out of a splitter/processor. Japa 405 with the perfect split system will be what i'm going with.

What do you figure you split in a 8 hour run ? Face cords . Looking into renting one myself
