That strat where you drop down and grenade the first shooter in Opera House is my normal way of dealing with him and it never ceases to amuse me. So many ppl have commented on it and I've also been told how crazy it'd be to have Lara falling like that to be the last thing you see. xD
You can actually clip through the edge of the raft and climb up onto it from the water, so that's actually probably the least dangerous part of that level even.
@@sweetpepino1907 If you need to cheat to beat a single player game, then it's really quite sad. Speedrunners should concentrate on beating times without resorting to that, as it's utterly pointless.
Yeah it seems in this remaster the enemies have their HP nerfed. Recently I just first time beaten OG TR1 on PC then I went n did it again on PS1 on psvita then did another PS1 run for 100% then fast forward to 2024 did TR1 remaster I noticed some of the enemies in that game have nerfed HP especially the Trex which died before it got to the jungle entrance. Also the blade shutters are an instant kill for me and not just 50% of my health. Btw I love your videos they're very informative for me also very relaxing to just do my work n sleep to. That all enemies are TRex was insane, I won't have the paitence for it.
This is the last game I would expect anyone to do a no damage run of. Even disregarding unavoidable falling damage, which I assume you'll skip with glitches and sequence breaking, there are just so many unfair enemy encounters. Like that one time in Maria Doria where you get out of 1x1 water shaft and there is a shotgunner standing right next to you. Looking forward to the rest of this run!
@@Dark_Aeon You can do it with zero medipacks if you begin the dive at full health. As for no damage, there is no way to do it glitchless. If it's possible with a glitch, a setup would be required which would make it trivial.
@@Eycore yeah some pros like yourself probably can survive it without using meds, but I can't imagine no damage. My noob self did that yesterday and was proud of only using two small medipacks lol
@@charg1nmalaz0r51 you may not need any if you approach this stage of the level with full health. I don't think it's possible to not lose any health at all (no damage) in that diving section.

The first thing that came to mind when I saw this was " What about the forced damage on 'The Deck'?" and any other kind to be fair?

Isnt there mandatory damage in the deck? Falling onto the raft to get the key?
Correct, that's why they put the large medi pack right next to the opening. You need almost full health to survive it.

@@StewartyMac Almost every speedrun glitch in this game involves clipping in some way, I don't know why that's a problem.

Isnt TR3 harder with the cold water dive in RX tech mines? I always have to use at least 2 medipacks in that sequence.
