Bro in my asus laptop when i click on shut down
The screen gets off but my laptop fan and led indicator keep on blinking nad working.
But when i long hold on the power button it gets off.
Why is this happening please help me😢
The issue you're experiencing with your Asus laptop, where the screen turns off but the fan and LED indicators keep blinking, might be related to a power management or hardware problem. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
Update BIOS/UEFI:
Ensure that your laptop's BIOS/UEFI is up-to-date. Manufacturers often release updates to address various issues, including power management.
Check Power Settings:
Go to "Power & sleep settings" and check the power plan settings. Ensure that the settings for sleep, hibernation, and shutdown are configured correctly.
Update Device Drivers:
Make sure all your device drivers, especially graphics and chipset drivers, are up-to-date. Outdated drivers may cause power-related issues.
Windows Update:
Ensure that your Windows operating system is fully updated. Sometimes, Windows updates include fixes for power-related problems.
Fast Startup:
Disable Fast Startup in the Power Options. This feature might cause issues during shutdown. You can find this option in "Power & sleep settings" > "Additional power settings" > "Choose what the power buttons do."
Power Troubleshooter:
Run the built-in Power Troubleshooter. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters > Power.
Disable Fast Boot in BIOS/UEFI:
Access your laptop's BIOS/UEFI settings during startup and check if there's an option for "Fast Boot." Disable it and see if it resolves the issue.
Check for Malware:
Run a thorough antivirus and anti-malware scan to ensure that your system is not infected.
Hardware Check:
If the issue persists, it might be a hardware problem. In such cases, it's recommended to contact Asus support or take your laptop to an authorized service center for further diagnosis.
Reset Power Management Settings:
Open Command Prompt as an administrator and run the following commands:
bash
Copy code
powercfg -h off
powercfg /s /shutdown
After trying these steps, if the issue persists, it's advisable to contact Asus customer support or seek assistance from a professional technician to diagnose and address any potential hardware issues

When i try to shutdown my laptop...it is restarting.....Wgen i select shutdown anyway...then it is shutting down....Any Solution for that bro ?
If your laptop is restarting instead of shutting down when you choose the shutdown option, and it shuts down properly only after you select "shutdown anyway," there are a few potential solutions you can try:
1. Check for Windows Updates:
Ensure that your operating system is up to date. Sometimes, Windows updates include fixes for power-related issues. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update to check for updates.
2. Update Device Drivers:
Outdated or incompatible device drivers can cause shutdown problems. Update your graphics card, chipset, and other critical drivers. You can do this through the Device Manager or by visiting the manufacturer's website.
3. Power Settings:
Check your power settings to ensure they are configured correctly. Go to Settings > System > Power & sleep, and review the settings under "Power button and lid."
4. Fast Startup:
Try disabling Fast Startup, as it can sometimes cause shutdown issues.
Go to Control Panel > Power Options.
Click on "Choose what the power buttons do."
Click on "Change settings that are currently unavailable."
Uncheck "Turn on fast startup."
Save changes.
5. Command Prompt Fix:
Open Command Prompt as an administrator.
Type the following command and press Enter:
bash
Copy code
powercfg /h off
This disables hibernation, which might resolve some shutdown issues.
6. Windows Power Troubleshooter:
Run the built-in Windows Power Troubleshooter.
Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.
Run the "Power" troubleshooter.
7. Check for Malware:
Perform a full system scan for malware using your antivirus software. Malware can sometimes interfere with normal system functions.
8. BIOS/UEFI Update:
Check if there's a BIOS/UEFI update available for your laptop on the manufacturer's website. Updating the system firmware can resolve compatibility issues.
9. Check Event Viewer:
Look for any error messages related to shutdown in the Event Viewer. It might provide clues about the cause of the issue.
10. Restore to a Previous State:
If the problem started recently, consider using System Restore to revert your system to a state where the issue didn't exist.
Important Note:
Always back up your important data before making significant changes to your system, such as updating drivers or making changes to system settings.
If the issue persists after trying these solutions, it may be worthwhile to seek assistance from technical support or a knowledgeable friend who can diagnose the problem more specifically based on your laptop model and configuration.
Solution 1 fixed my problem thanks for this.
Glad it helped
