    Looks good however it looks like a glock upper... I like the m&p fish scales on the front and back of slide.. thats what makes m&ps diffrent from every one else.. thats why im keeping mine stock with the floyds magwell and baseplates.. sweet video though.

      Oh hell ya. The Apex sat on my desk for quite a while before I cerakote it to color match the gun and then did the install. Apex flatty is the best upgrade you can do on an M&P

      @@360TacticalSolutions ain't that the truth I didn't notice how bad the m&p trigger was till I got the apex it's night and day, wayy too much overtravel in the factory threw my shots of I definitely shoot better tighter groups since the change 👍

    I'm a fan of the M&P m2.0 line of pistols and that is one good looking build you have there, looks extremely well done.

      It’s my carry gun like 99% off the time. Aside from performance being amazing, the weight and capacity are perfect and it conceals really well

    Something to think about, if you get Floyd’s magwell, your factory baseplates will not fit the gun. You will have to get Floyd’s baseplates or extensions. I have the magwell, baseplates and extensions, everything is top notch quality

    • @360TacticalSolutions
      @360TacticalSolutions  ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe I touched on that in another video. Even without the magwell the Floyds basepads are great. They add a bit of extra weight which helps free stubborn mags. I love Floyds

    Thanks for the video! Having installed Apex barrels in two 1.0's and three 2.0's, I can say that the upgrade is a must for a 1.0 and barely noticeable with the 2.0

    There is a traditional Muay Thai exercise that my kru (sensei) used to make us do to help train our eyes not to blink when getting punched in the face... You simply tap your eyebrows repeatedly with the sides of your index fingers with your hands held straight as if you are doing a karate chop motion while forcing yourself to keep your eyes open. We did this for 30-45 seconds at a time and though it looked goofy as hell, it was super effective. I found that this even helped me when it came to re-aligning my sights in between each shot as well as improving my body's reaction or responses to the recoil of the gun. Teaches you not to flinch, helps you predict the recoil, and essentially helps keep both eyes open and on your opponent/target at all times.

    • @360TacticalSolutions
      @360TacticalSolutions  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thats actually a good practice technique. That day shooting was rough. I was sick, the weather was shit and the ammo I was using was garbage. Every time I pulled the trigger I was getting crap blown back at me in my eyes. After the first couple rounds I started flinching and that just set the tone for the range trip. Excellent advice though, Ill definitely pass that on to some of the new shooters I mentor locally

    Have you had any issues with your floyds tall irons hitting way high?

    • @360TacticalSolutions
      @360TacticalSolutions  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are a bit taller than some of the ones I’ve used on other guns but suppressor height sights are always going to be a higher point of impact. Honestly I dont even use or train with them anymore. I do regular battery changes on my dot and I trust it. If it goes down thats ok, I practice point and shoot with my dot’s emitter taped off and I’ve gotten pretty good at it. I find irons to just be so slow, inefficient and in a high stress situation they could end up being more of a liability than anything

      S&W DoubleTapper that was an interesting day. First time on a red dot in more time than I care to admit, shit ammo that kept blowing powder residue back at me, and to top it off I was out in the rain/snow mix with a fever. I shouldn’t have cut the part where I emptied the first mag and immediately threw up lol. I’ll check your video but I’ve got the Apex trigger sitting on my desk for the M&P. One of these days I should really take the time to cerakote it and finally do the install

  • @rich1958

    What color cerakote is that? Looks nice. Now... get yourself an APEX trigger!! It's very easy to install. I have done 2 so far.

    • @360TacticalSolutions
      @360TacticalSolutions  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Rich the cerakote is Elite Series and the color is Concrete. I figured with it being a gun that rides in a holster a lot I might as well go Elite because it lasts the longest. The Apex was ordered and was delivered when this video posted, was the wrong trigger so I sent it back. I have the correct one on my desk and should be cerakoting it and the mag release to match the slide in the next week or so. The install job is definitely easy compared to some of the gun work I’ve done over the years

      I ran it with the stock spring and no optic for a couple hundred rounds and it ran well, just like stock. Then I added the optic and it didn't change much. Later on I did swap to a lighter spring just playing around to see how it would perform and the difference was minimal, I don't remember how many pounds the spring was

    How much does it cost for the slide milling and the optics cut?

    • @360TacticalSolutions
      @360TacticalSolutions  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Colin Moran I don’t really like throwing prices out there because who knows, in two years this video could still be up and someone can see the pricing I’ve quoted and it could be wrong at that point. If you click the link to my site I’ve got Floyd’s info and link posted there. Price seems to be the major hang up with this kind of work but for me it was worth it. I looked into having Agency do my slide and Floyd’s was half the cost. Agency does some amazing work but I couldn’t justify their pricing

    • @colinmoran1710
      @colinmoran1710 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      360 Tactical Solutions yeah I have looked all over the website and I can’t find a price so I was just asking because you are the first person I have found who had gotten it done recently

    • @360TacticalSolutions
      @360TacticalSolutions  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Colin Moran weird, it’s listed under each of the slide cut options. Currently, 01/27/2020 the Defiance cut with the cut for an RMR will set you back just over $300. That doesn’t include cerakote, suppressor height sights, mag well or mag extensions. They do have an incredibly talented shop doing their cerakote work so you can be assured if you add that option it will be really well done.
      They do have multiple slide cut options listed on their site at different prices. The Defiance just happened to catch my eye the most

    • @colinmoran1710
      @colinmoran1710 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      360 Tactical Solutions thank you! All I could find was “for an extra charge” you could get the RMR cut on top of the slide milling price. I just wanted a more exact number. You really helped with that. Thanks again.

    • @360TacticalSolutions
      @360TacticalSolutions  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@alecmya honestly I cant say. I do all my own Cerakote work. I can say the guys doing the Cerakote for Floyd's do an amazing job and I wouldn't expect a different price if you requested the E series coating. The material cost is the same and so is the process of application. If you send them a message on their website or maybe instagram they would be able to give you a for sure answer on that. In my 5+ years of cerakoting its been my experience that the standard H series Cerakote is a great product and lasts quite a while. The E series doesn't have as many colors but id say its twice as durable
