    You are right about the Apex triggers , I have them in all of my M&P's. I used the highest spring setting possible for my triggers just for carry purposes and love them. Good looking gun man.

      Absolutely love the Apex. Should be the first upgrade to any M&P

    I think changing the recoil spring is just for using under powered plinking ammo and cycling the gun. Honest outlaw did a video about M&P recoil springs on that subject. You probably know that though , lol.

    I use the lightest trigger pull on my apex, the wall is so defined that it really is not a concern it’s only a positive.

      Same here. I set it up with the lightest springs and did a few rounds of dry fire practice. For me it felt fine. I will say that apex has ruined me on other guns. Everything else I shoot just doesn't compare...with the exception of the STI.

    Love Floyds Custom. Those guys, and gal, are top shelf. I did the magwell with one 6 and one 2 round extension a few months ago, and I just sent my slide and barrel to them for the compensator. I didn't have to send the slide, but my Faxon barrel wasn't on the list, and when I talked to Jeff, he said that if I sent the slide, he'd go ahead and clock the comp and notch the barrel, as well as adjust for any irregularities in the length of the barrel to match the comp to the slide with minimal gap. They will certainly get more of my business down the road, should I opt to have the slide cut for optics or further the "John Wick" effect (yeah, I went there, and I don't give a damn whether anyone makes fun of me or not. It's for me, and I like it).

      The thing about Floyd's is they have that family touch when it comes to dealing with customers. Probably because its a family owned and operated business. You won't get that level of service from anyone else out there and their products and services are top notch

      Hows the reliability on the +6 extension?

    What color is that cerakote? Tungsten by chance? That's what I'm considering having Floyd's do on mine when I send it in.

    • @360TacticalSolutions
      @360TacticalSolutions  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Tungsten is a great color. Ive done a lot of guns in Tungsten. What I used on that gun is Elite Series Cerakote…E-160 Concrete. I use the elite series on carry guns because it puts up with a lot more abuse. They dont make the Tungsten in Elite Series unfortunately. Its been over two years of daily carry and probably 4000 rounds through that gun and the Cerakote still looks nearly new. Im bored with the color though and I’ll be stripping it down and changing it next month

    Culp 2020! Sorry, I came here for your pt 3 vid on your Floyd's M&P but couldn't help noticing your sign. Didn't know that you are in WA, that's cool! How do you get to a range for live fire with all the COVID-19 stifling things?

    • @360TacticalSolutions
      @360TacticalSolutions  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Rob Suderman well I live about 10min from a gravel pit and 15min from Skagit Shooting Range which has been open through most of this madness. We had a short period where the range was closed and public lands were off limits but we have been back open for a while. If all else fails...my parents have property out in the county where I can get away with doing a little bit of shooting.

    Floyd's work looks great. My local shop carries the Optics Ready versions of the compact. Would you still recommend getting a standard slide cut over pay a little more for OR + tall sights from the factory?

    • @360TacticalSolutions
      @360TacticalSolutions  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thats a tough call. Im not sure what the pricing difference is for the optics ready version vs standard but the optic cut from Floyds is like $150 which I feel is incredibly reasonable. No optic plates, just a direct mill for the optic of your choosing. I like that option better than a slide with a bunch of adapter plates. I think right now you can buy a precut slide on the Floyds site, you may want to check that out as well. Bottom line is its all going to depend on you, your budget and what you plan on doing with the gun. I feel like the quality of machining done at Floyds is some of the best ive ever seen and I trust it more than I do a plate system.

      @@360TacticalSolutions Currently only a $50-60 difference. I'll have to dig deeper on how their system works & what they include.

    When you ordered your barrel, did you get any porting options on it ?

    • @360TacticalSolutions
      @360TacticalSolutions  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I didnt get any porting done to the slide and barrel. When I buy the 5” I may have it ported

    Let us know what spring you went went. I'm thinking about getting my slide milled on my m&p 2.0 fde

    • @360TacticalSolutions
      @360TacticalSolutions  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bass Me Dat TV will do. The gun performs well after the slide milling, it’s just tough picking the M&P up again after shooting my STI for a few months. I do have a couple more springs on order so hopefully I’ll revisit the topic soon

    Did you happen to measure the pull weight of the stock M&P 2.0 trigger before you installed the Apex trigger kit, and if so, what was it?

    • @360TacticalSolutions
      @360TacticalSolutions  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I didn’t but I should have. I was so excited to get it installed I didn’t even think about it. I think the pull weight is listed on the S&W site but every gun will vary a bit
