I love Blackpool I'm 15 and every holiday I can remember, I've spent there I'm from the north east of England and honestly I could go here for all my holidays and not get bored.its a beautiful place with an amazing heritage and it's amazing to see that Blackpool tower is still fully catered for over 150 years later. Great video ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Shane Morley I m Pakistani I visited England in 2019 n went to black pool as well I m still memsmerised by it's weather magical shore n small shops around I went in all shops n food places It was worth spending my holidays there I m still thinking about those days n places
I only came back 2 days ago and wish I was still there ....i go every year first with my kids now my grandchildren ...because I had my kids very young I have grandkids young... This video literally shows you a day in Blackpool ...thank you happy memories made
Thanks for posting-it brings back warm memories of a 1950s childhood when Blackpool was the destination of choice (or no choice!) for the Lancashire working class.Whole towns used to virtually shut down for a week in turns,(Wakes week)so you were sure to meet someone you knew.Going by steam train and staying at a boarding house for a week-great fun.
Been to Blackpool 3 or 4 times, love for the entertainment young and old, perfect for a holiday, now living in Perth Western Australia, and miss entertainment none here at all,
Fabulous video im sat in my office in a very rainy florida day !!!!! watching this I grew up in Blackpool lived in a pub on prom and loved every minute of my childhood there
As a child, and like no other English town, Blackpool amazed me with its Victoriana, particularly the mysterious seeming Winter Gardens with the faintly saucy sounding Knees Up Mother Brown bar (the name of a song, of course) and the long-missed Professor Peabody's play area in its original form. There was an intoxicating blend of British faded romance and Japanese arcade machines with the occasional piece of modernist architecture interest like the Funhouse, sadly destroyed by fire, the laughing clown outside the only remnant.
Thank you for posting this lots of lovely memmories flooding back. As a child my family and I went to Blackpool from North London for the Christmas lights. I was also part of a formation team that danced and won at the tower as a child. I now live in Los Angeles.
as a child in the 50s my mother took me to Blackpool every year ,l have many happy memories , l still try to go on a day trip every year to relive the happy times .
Watching this on wk 4 of Covid 19 lockdown. Had many happy holidays there with my grandparents who had a flat over Victoria Road chippy, my Mum lived in Clevelys then Fleetwood (a bit further down the coast). Used to take my kids to the Illuminations, walk through the "tableux". Been on days out with the girls as a teenager. Yes some bits were skanky but still lots to do, especially if you have a Merlin Annual Pass! Hopefully will be able to go back sometime when everything opens up and we get back to normal. Whatever that might be. In the meantime lovely to watch and reminisce on YT.
Wonderful clip thank you.....Spent most " illumination time" here from 3 to 16. Loved the trams.....Pleasure beach......WIndy days and the bracing air......Cockles.....Donkey RIdes... My Uncle was a musical director at the ice show when it had live music. Took my late wife to see ke Dodd and had a carriage ride along the lights... I live in Australia now but this will always be the BEST OF British despite all the knockers! Again Thanks for posting.
i really enjoyed this thank you so much , i spent all my childhood holidays in Blackpool from the age of about 3 to 14 , now i'm watching this from Australia where i now live and i feel so wonderfully nostalgic
I had the same childhood as you. I lived in west london all that time so Blackpool was a good 5.5hr drive but now I have moved to Manchester it is literally 50mins from my house, imagine my excitement. tbh I would rather be in Australia though lol :)
As a hotelier in Blackpool, south shore, this upload is excellent. Great quality and I must say, one of the best true views of the real Blackpool during the season. Well done.
Great film! Wonderful to see Blackpool displayed in a positive modernity. Far too many naysayers about these days saying ‘what a dump’ everywhere is. Superb work and well framed and shot.
A unique place in the UK. Somewhere quirky and different for foreign visitors who want to look beyond the big cities and pretty scenery. Tim Burton loves it.
Born and bred in Blackpool. There’s nothing here but trouble on most nights with drug addicts and piss heads. The streets are a little cleaner than before but the ugly side is just getting worse.
Bobby Samra .......as an ex coach driver , I can tell you there’s a lot of places worse than blackpool ........and yes , I know it has its problems , I’m a local too ( south shore ) but I like it here ....!!
Lol, this is so true. People make it out to be such a brilliant place on holiday but when they live in Blackpool, the fake homeless people, druggies, spice heads, skanks, chavs. I think Blackpool is slowly improving. It’s had tons of investment recently
Literally so excited to go back to Blackpool this year. Used to go twice sometimes three times a year from 2 years until I was 14.. I'm now 20 and my wee girl is two this year gonna be so good seeing my prinnys face when we arrive :-) x
This guy should work for Blackpool tourism, he's shown Blackpool in a light that people need to see it in as opposed to the negative journalism, well done fella , great filming and thankyou.(from a Leeds man still ere in Leeds but I want to go back to Blackpool now) 👍
excelllent presentation. I been many times and loved it. Like all towns there can be trouble but thats life now, just get on with it, I'm 82 years and would love to go right now but my legs will not let me.. I'm sure that anyone viewing your video will be encouraged to go and visit. thank you
Thanks for this video. Gives a great example of what the camera can do and your choice of shots really puts the viewer there in Blackpool. I feel like I have visited there myself. Cheers.
You really don't want to do that. It's a shit hole. Thornton-Cleveleys, St Annes, Lytham, or surrounding areas? Sure... but Blackpool is just a dump now. Don't let a video of the promenade fool you. Go back inland 200 metres, and it's fucking awful.
You’ve missed out Stanley park and the boating lake , the zoo and model village , there’s so much more to have seen but apart from that a well presented video . Blackpool does have its problems , it has to be said but there’s far worse places to live than Blackpool . It has the scope to be a much better place but all in all I’m happy to spend the rest of my days living here .....
Trust me blackpool ain’t no joke. I’m not from Blackpool I’m from Glasgow witch is considered fat worst but in all honesty for gang crime and violence Glasgow is far worst. But for drugs creeps and poverty I’d say Blackpool
luv blackpool happy memorys of child hood holidays and day trips in the 1970s with my late brother and late father and mom to weekends away with my footy mates in the 1990s happy days
I live in wigan only about 50 mins ride from blackpool and been going here for the past 30+ years with my family and now ive got children myself i love to share to them what we had when we was young. Me and my partner are considering moving there. Love the place, always have always will! 😁
we came to Blackpool to see the lights with PC coaches stayed over night before coming back rode in one of the lighted trams going back later this year again with PC coaches to see more of the shops ect in between excursions
+Jacek Zarzycki Fantastic quality, great for weddings, every frame looks good enough to print. My laptop can't handle the 4K, though, too much buffering even if I pause to let it load. Perhaps need a better graphics card.
I love blackpool it's the best town in Lancashire. I fell in love with it when I was five.
I still love it to this day.
Last year we went to blackpool and it was so amazing thanks
@RED FLYERS01 it’s still good tho and covid honestly doesn’t affect Blackpool

Remember living there as a child until I left in 72 to Australia. Brought some memories back, thank you.
I'm from America I got stuck and stranded in blackpool where I was homeless but I must say nice people and an awesome place

Fantastic VIDEO from my childhood holiday destination , im tempted to get this camera , what are your Views
It’s an iconic British seaside resort
was. its a dump now
My only holiday in Blackpool was 1978, had a profound effect on me for the good . The tower , the pleasure beech, the evening shows, good pubs.
So many memories. I left the love of my life in Blackpool 💔
i really enjoyed this thank you so much , i spent all my childhood holidays in Blackpool from the age of about 3 to 14 , now i'm watching this from Australia where i now live and i feel so wonderfully nostalgic
I know your not English because nobody in England is that not dumb

Fantastic video 👏👍 Thanks for doing it in 4k too! Love Blackpool although I live in Preston and it doesn't deserve all the negative press it gets
I hope it's not. Properties seems cheaper than in other parts of England. Is this is really that rough area?
A unique place in the UK. Somewhere quirky and different for foreign visitors who want to look beyond the big cities and pretty scenery. Tim Burton loves it.
Finally a well made video of Blackpool, amazing shots from the beach towards the promenade. Day and night wow. A like from me and many thanks. 👍
So wonderful memories of the 1930s ansfor a short time after ww2 now92 living in Canada
Cool to hear from an old timer, what was it like back then?
@@oliverlee1399 That was 2 years ago, I think it's too late.

I have had some amazing nights down Blackpool and was great to see it all again ☺ brilliant work
There's something special about Blackpool. Its tacky loveliness is part of its attraction. The laughing clown always tops the day off for me!!
That bloody clown was not laughing when the fun house got bombed lol. I cannot stand that laugh.
Karl Johnson has
Wow - you did an amazing job of showing Blackpool at it's very best - Well done!

Great video. I love Blackpool. Las Vegas of England
Blackpool just has a certain vibe unlike any other seaside town in the UK.
Very nice video. I particularly liked the shot of the Comedy Carpet from the top of the tower. Regards.
I loved Blackpool in the early 70's so I moved back here in retirement ! Although the Hotels are basic you will always get a room very cheap.
Fascinating, horses, cars, high tech. ...all living together ✌
another nice part of england that who living in other country doesn't know
a very nice vid, thanks
from cardiff blackpool is awesome fantastic atmosphere great people
It has changed a lot since I went there in 1999 when I was 14. I’m glad I’m going again next monday to see what has really changed.
Blackpool is the best holiday,I go there every year on the 5th june to the 20fh June :)
nice view greetings from New York
I am from the Caribbean and I was told this was the best beach in England (and Northern Europe) so I was excited as hell when I went there and then...
Then what. Obviously the best beach in England isn't Blackpool, especially Northern Europe. There are many other beaches, Brighton for example.
fab show of blackpool ,,,,,,, love it ,,,
