I’m a little stumped. On my gate some of the numbers are in the neutral position. What would I do in this case? Switch them to the on or off position ? Thank you :)
13 clicks for me and my old Genie opener. The LED light on the opener doesn't work anymore, but I just clicked slowly while imagining the light stopped flashing
So could this work just the same for other openers? My old overhead door opener is dip switch. But couldn’t I just get any aftermarket dip switch remote like this and it still be compatible with my overhead door model even being a chamberlain or what have you?
Yes absolutely! If you have the existing remote that came with the opener then you can just change the code on it. Or if you want to buy an aftermarket you can look at a genie 9-12 remote. My thoughts on the Chamberlain universal. The day that comes when you have to replace the garage door opener you can still use the universal remote for that new machine. So it's not like money wasted. Versus if you buy an aftermarket remote to match the current garage door opener it's not going to work with a newer machine.
Is it possible to program a Chamberlin key pad to at steel craft door opener that doesn't have a learn button it has dip switches but I don't see any on the key pad?
