This drive, like the P50, is overkill for consoles because they can't support its fastest speeds. But this one is cheaper than P50 now so it's a little more worth it if you can find it for cheap. Otherwise get a D30.
@cyrusramseyer6054 It shouldn't damage your console. The xbox just won't take full advantage of the speeds as it's own limits are slower than the drive. Both the p40 and d30 are great options though and are a good value for the price.
@@Aetius_of_Astora awesome thank you! I went ahead with the d30 purchase earlier since I wasn’t sure and I’m kind of an idiot when it comes to this stuff, just wanted whatever would work best specifically for the newer xbox
@@Aetius_of_AstoraI bought a p40, I’m not sure if it’s a good choice or if it will damage the console, so I thought maybe you’ll let me know how the p40 may work on my series s.
Any Xbox One game. You can also use it as a cold storage of sorts. So instead of redownloading a game, you just archive it to the P40 drive till you are ready to play again, and then transfer it back to the main storage.
@@GamingTrendVideos i had a sandisk drive and it stopped reading on my pc. Under a year old and frustrated. I like to have a good drive that will be reliable for gaming
Hi. Good video. Which tripod do you use to record video above the table?
I use a boom arm (that has been discontinued, sorry) that can hold 10 pounds. Elgato made it for a bit.
Do this thing can run or play Xbox series x/s games?

Will it fry the console? I’m really trying to find the best ssd option for my series s, but there’s so many mixed reviews on everything

Will the p 40 work on a ps 3 🤔
Do the RGB lights work when it's connected to a console?
Yes
So how would this work on PC what kind of games would run well on it
What types of games can you play with this drive on Xbox series x

nice focus man
SO if you switch out that nvme to a 4tb nvme will or does the RGB still function normally?
I can't say I've tested it, but it should work fine.
How is this for pc gaming? Will games run off of it
Really good. It's got the speed for it. I don't typically use portable storage for that but given the hardware under the hood, it'll do just fine.

All I wanna know is will this drive make final fantasy 14 on pc load as fast as it does on ps5 lol. Because well I already bought it lol
So does it, because I just bought one and wanna know if the speeds are actually noticeable lol
Do it work with a ps5 also?
Yes! I pulled video with it this evening, in fact. :)
I came to see the device not his face
