Thanks for the great review! I have been hired to do some framed photo photography of Class Pictures for a local high school. I need to "take out" the overhead lights and create enough light to illuminate the photo without reflection. A challenge for sure. But I think these may do the trick! I have a softbox from Westcott as well if I need to do a diffuse flash. Thanks for the info! You were very helpful :)!
Great review. Do u know how to set up those lights and not have that much shadows behind? I have ring light only and it piss me off because the person look always "flat" heh. So i bought that LED panels and I am waiting to get them but I m worry now about that shadows :/
@@HighTechCheck or by sitting, having a bit more space behind you so the shadow doesn't hit the back wall, and moving your key light above you (easier once you are sitting). Try turning the lights down, too, its closing down your eyes in this video, but thats another reason to move the lights closer and above. Great video and demonstration. Do you think two of these on stands at around 3 metres from the subject, covering a 1st birthday party of 25 people in a medium sized function room, do a great job without any harsh shadows ? Thank you
Thanks for the review. I have a question. I am collecting a number of facial expressions from a number of volunteers. Do you think this LED lights can help to (1) not using flash and (2) how far can they be from losing the brightness?
They will definitely help with lighting for use without a flash but you might need more then a few to get the desired effect. You also might need overhead lighting, but again it all depends on the situation. For me I use these in conjunction with overhead lights, they help get rid of shadows.

Ordered set of three 660 with batteries, stands, barn doors and then, couples days after payment, get canceled. What a joke of the company and the way if treating the customer. It is a Sunday and they just canceled my order without even contacting me first. I'm in UK and currency is GBP but payment is done in USD, so my bank done currency conversion from GBP to USD and in this transaction and cancellation I just lost £20.00gbp. What a joke in very bad!

Neewer respond on my emails is delayed for 6-7days, like someone read emails once a week and always got respond from someone named "Gina". Replays were always almost generically created. In the end, calculated that I lost around £26gbp in transaction. Bought same thing (set of three 660, 2.4Ghz with remote, stands, barn doors, power supply with UK plug BUT without batteries) on the Amazon and get delivered next day. I'm very satisfied with that set but will newer ever deal directly with Neewer company.

The only way to get rid of shadows from behind you is to have lights also from the top down or bottom up. My setup also has a light above me.
