Since Ketchup and Mustard are the same mold as the Cobra ground crew guy I think Ketchup and Mustard will be eventually made and sold at retail probably when the Skystriker deliveries start.
looks like it all comes together now. crane, maintenance equipment, so nice! and that 3d printer... it looks like you could do anything! well, at least small anything. if it was me, I d be tempted to build a cobra robot of some kind. but also, all sorts of furniture for a cardboard base. defence guns, cannons, supplies, man, endless possibilities. good work!

I didn’t realize the abrams and Blackhawk shared an engine. That’s really interesting. I did a history of the mauler video and discussed wether it’s powered by a gas turbine or a diesel. Some of the info contradicts itself :) Thanks for watching and the great info.
When I was a kid, I had a broken cobra adder, I think, the little vehicle that had two missiles. I ended up using it as a cobra cargo truck driving around the base. Ok, usually just a way to sneak Joes in using a large crate.
Fabulous work, who doesn't love these kind of set-ups, my Action Force never went anywhere without a toolkit (borrowed from the A-Team) and loved having a workshop scene. Those ladders, carts & engine are superb - "I'll have two ladders please" :-)
40K fan here, I love the stuff showing the downtime of Imperial Guard and navy (among others) either as a diorama or just something to be a nice long modelling project. It's a unique challenge in my opinion.

A buddy of mine army built a bunch of Lift Tickets for a flight crew. I'm surprised there wasn't a mechanic or 2 in the ARAH line. I Army built Lifeline and I created a Rescue Unit with doubles and painted helmets Red
* For the Engines, when they pull them out of the plane, you take them to CMS, and they have a legitimate shop they work in. They have a stand that the engines sit on so you can work on them. *That trailer needs a couple of cradle pieces for the Engines to sit in, so the engine doesn't roll off and hit someone.

Yeah I’m working on more stuff. I wanted to keep it somewhat generic so it could work with Cobra or Joe and aircraft and ground vehicles. Helicarrier like the avenger’s flying aircraft carrier? Like the cobra faced cobra plane from the cartoon intro? It’d be great to have something huge like that.

If your modeling jet engines, makes sense to model mode detailed turbines that actually plug into the various jets vs. an underscaled random turbine. Possible a bottom half doe the Rattler turbine? Or new whole turbine that slots into the parts location to replace the individual pieces? Inspired work though! It might also improve function if the cart wheels were more street tread oriented. Maybe a munitions cart specifically for the Rattler or Conquest? Tons of potential with this project!
Joytoy came out with 2 sets of Maintenance personnel. One set is a reddish orange and the other is grey. Kinda pricey, $139 per set. But it really does add to the down time dioramas!! I still have quite a few of my original Joe's from the 80's and a whole bunch of the new and more detailed ones. Ive also added the bbi 1/18 scale F18's and a F16. The apache and 2 cobras and 2 hueys. Fortunately I was able to purchase these when they were only a couple hundred $$$. Now!?!? They are 7,8,9 hundred bucks!?!?

Nice accessories! I’ve always thought about these items. Slightly off subject, if you had more then one Rattler, how should the markings be different. I assume the #41 on the nose is a nose number? So there should be a 42, 43, 18, 134? And what does the Z06 mean? I want a fleet but can’t have them all numbered the same… my ocd
I’m not sure what the markings mean. I think much of it is just random nonsense. Ron Rudat told me the numbers on the dragonfly were his old phone number 😁
That’s a good question. I’ve never liked the idea of green shirts or generic Joes. I’d rather give each unique member a name and something unique about them. I hear people calling the deck crew ketchup and mustard. Maybe something like that. Cobra is a different story. They have endless ranks of fodder troops. I always drew a parallel with Star Wars and the faceless storm troopers.

how about a rack system that works with the trailer? that way yopu can have missiles or bombs on the bed of it, and then something else that lays or goes around the bed rails for another bed of missiles or bombs. and/or a fuel bowser attachment to add on the trailer? or just another fuel trailer. i'd do two, so that cobra can have something different. i've always thought of cobra having a lot of advanced experimental gear/equipment, while joe prefers tried and tested stuff, real life military but a little more advanced.
The crew and vehicles would make an excellent addition to the Flagg. Unfortunately it looks like this may not reach the 10k backers to even get funded, let alone the 18k needed for the ground crew. Nice work on your pieces there. One of these I'm going to get a 3D printer.

Agreed. Cobra always had the sci-fi end of the tech. I designed the carts so they can be chained together like a train but I need to test that out.
