Grrrreat work my dude!! This was a dream of mine when i had my HydroFoil!!
Thank you 👍
Absolutely one of the best vehicles, RC, want! That's awesome that you got to show it to Ron too.
Thanks. Yeah, meeting him and showing him the RC Moray was really great. Thanks for watching.
Since it started life as a hydrofoil, I don't see any problem with making it considerably faster. Fun story: As a kid I got one of these at a local Shopko when I saw it had a sticker on it that clearly wasn't the right price (wouldn't have been able to afford it on allowance money otherwise...lol). I don't know what the sticker was for, but it wasn't the price, and I got it super cheap. This was in the mid 1980's, so scanners weren't a thing and everything was pretty much hand entered into a register. I got it up to the counter and the lady looked at the sticker and punched the number in without a second thought, and I walked out with a clearance priced Moray. Man was I stoked, because I was heading to my grandmother's house that weekend and she had a creek that ran through the property. After getting to my grandmother's, I opened up the package and got everything together...and realized the turret was missing. My excitement evaporated. I took it down to the creek once and let it float for a bit, and ended up returning it the same day. All the other ones were gone...at clearance prices.
Getting a toy with a missing piece has got to be one of the worst things. Thanks for sharing the story 👍
I got the mobile command center as a kid without the pieces that connect the folding sections! So I ended up with a vehicle and two boxes! Had to bring it back two days after Christmas and exchange it.

You are a legend. Took one of the best toys and made it even better. Well done 👍
Wow, thanks. I really appreciate that.
So cool, you certainly don't disappoint with your creativity!
Thank you! Cheers!
I absolutely love your mods!!!👏👏👏
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that.
The boat is amazing on its own, but super cool that it has Ron Rudat’s seal of approval! I’m planning on doing a modern version of the Water Moccasin using the fort boat for 1/12 scale figures. You are definitely an inspiration!
Very cool! That boat looks like a great base for a custom at 1/12th. Good luck and thanks for watching.
that's pretty cool! I've always been a huge fan of the G.I. Joe Devilfish think those are too small to do something like this on though. might be able to do it with a cobra water moccasin. oh or the Mortal combat action figures had a boat that came with a reptile action figure the Drago MK-1 that one would probably work pretty good.
Check out littl Gi joe RC. He made an RC devil fish. I think he had to modify the hull quite a bit. th-cam.com/video/-eccbGApigA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=tLRByn-RPQ9vp2Sc
@@ActionRobotPunch he did a water moccasin also. very cool.
Love your videos, awesome stuff every time!!!
Thanks so much!
Wow ❤. Love the squid btw 😅
Thanks Mark. I need to get that squid in another video! Maybe torpedo and shipwreck vs the squid 🦑 😁
That looks so fun! 😊
It really is. Except the sinking part 😁
scupper valves can aid with water ingress by letting it flow out the back when accelerating.
also a show plate of some kind under the missle hatch might hide the guts of the electronics and also look clutch if you style it with wire and bulk head type of details.
great build. verry impressive
Great ideas. The detail plate under the missile launcher would be an easy add and really clean things up. Thanks 👍
@@ActionRobotPunch yeah man. I use to do rc boats so I'm excited about your build. are you running lipo? and it looked to me like you had a brushed motor on the jet pump. a brushless might be the ticket but it all depends on that jet pump delivering the power to the water and not cavitating. can't wait for the next update video!
Ebay and flea markets are great places for project parts.nevet thought about doing this.i might try this.😊😊
Go for it! It’s really fun. Thanks for watching 👍
Very cool great work !
Thank you! Cheers!
Just need to build a bilge pump next haha. JK. That’s an amazing job. Always look forward to these videos.
That could work. I’d just have to find a small enough pump. But this sounds like a fun future project 😁 Thanks for watching.
Love this stuff!
Thank you 🙏
@@ActionRobotPunch anytime. That's some awesome skill and work you put in. Thank you!
Great stuff!!!
Thanks so much.
You can help floatation by adding styrofoam blocks or spray foam inside the hull. And use something like automotive GOOP around the seams so water doesn't get in. Also I use to put bags around electronic parts to protect against moisture.
Thanks for the tips and for watching the video 👍
That is awesome man. Now if you could do an RC Killer W:H.A.L.E. that would be sick
I have all the parts sitting in my workroom. Just need the time to make it. I need to retire and do this full time :)
Wow that's awesome
Thank you 👍
Fantastic work! Some full night shots to show off all your lights would be cool. Did you make/buy the decal sheet? I DO have a 2nd junk Moray and printer 🤔
It’s hard to get night shots. The camera adjusts to the light and makes it all look bright. I’ll have to try my dslr on manual. Try TOYHAX for stickers. They are pricey but do great work.
Awesome ❤
Thank you! Cheers!
super cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you.
6:36 Gah! A giant squid!
I love that thing. At some point I'll borrow it from the kids to use in a proper video with Torpedo and Deep-Six :) Thanks for watching.
😎👍
The future is now.
You know it! Thanks for watching.
This asks for a playmotion.
How about something to do with water skiing? :)
@@ActionRobotPunch that would be awesome 😍
