    So much to love about this. The integration of 3 scales is way up there. And as a fan of the Skystorm I LOVE your correction of its blades. So many neat mods in this piece. Bravo to the whole team, this is a beautiful production.

    First off, your story is Tight! Loved all the support characters seeing some action. Secondly, the Star Wars banter was a nice subtle touch. COBRA goes to the movies? Who knew? And finally, your toy collection of GI Joe is very impressive. Thanks for putting this up. YO JOE !!

    Great production all around. I especially loved the use of multiple scales - that adds a lot to the story! Also, loved the bit with Crankcase suspiciously asking Snake Eyes about his snake themed name - that was pure gold. The silent infiltration and escape was a perfect interpretation and use of Snake Eyes. Kick butt.

    To make a base from actual Joe merch to 3D printed parts to wooden blocks is perfect. They all contribute to the scene in our minds. Play encourages imagination!
    I don't recognize the Ares rocket assy toy (from?)but great stuff showing it stretching taller above everything else, then Storm Shadow spinning into scene from ABOVE that. Where'd he come from? Doesn't matter; he's a Ninja too. (Must've read the same book as Snake!).

      Good eye! That's a toy line called Mega Force, not to be confused with the movie. It's a line of huge complex war machines but they're all somewhat realistic and in that small scale so they can transport tanks, etc. But I think it only lasted a year.

      Do it! When I discovered Gi Joburg it got me back into collecting and I broke out my old Joes and started making movies. Stephen told me the same thing, just go for it. The big jet isn't a Gi Joe toy. I think it's a BBI f-16. Something I got at Toys R Us years ago. It dwarfs the Joe stuff because I think it's true scale. Good luck with your videos.

    I have one very important question about both GIJoe copters featured in this video. How can a pilot eject in an emergency if the canopy opens in to the rotor? Boy I sure hope someone got fired for that blunder!

    • @ActionRobotPunch
      @ActionRobotPunch  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      A standard helicopter wouldn't have an ejection seat for the reasons you mention. But can still try and auto rotate to a landing if the engine fails. BUT the Skystorm helicopter, flown by Snake Eyes, converts into a fixed wing mode at higher speeds. The large rotor blades stop spinning and act as fixed wings. This means, if something goes wrong, the pilot (Snake) can eject safely. Thanks for watching and for the interesting question!

    • @Cyril29a
      @Cyril29a 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The Kamov Ka-50 has an ejection seat which is nuts but ya most will rely on autorotate. As for the sky storm I don't understand how Snakeeyes could see where he was going let alone avoid enemy fire. Joes love staring at the floor or the ceriling when manning vehicles.
      The Shark, the Havoc, the recon sled, the Raven drone, Chameleon, Mamba and probably a bunch of others look like they would have been piloted by feel and smell alone.

    Thanks for making this video! I was not sure if a VAMP would fit inside or go up and down the rear ramp. I recently got one of the Chap Mai AF-53 Helicopters. It is freaking huge! I MEAN HUGE! the rotor blades are in like a 3 or 3 1/2 foot diameter and dont fold. For as big as it is a Vamp will.noy go up the rear ramp or fit inside. The helicopter has a hatch on the side rear that opens to a tool storage area with molded tools on the surface of the tool box inside. Well the bix takes up too much room inside to get anything bigger than a snowmobile in it. Disappointing 😞. Ill have to elomonate that tool box and glue the door on in a permanent panel.

    • @ActionRobotPunch
