as someone who has both kazuha and mualani, kazuha is definitely a better choice on a new account! I love ma gurl mualani but shes not the best for a new account lol she needs some pretty niche teammates (besides xiangling obvi)
yes same!! i have mualani on my main and kazuha on my swords only account which is currently on liyue, and the level 40 kazuha with level 1 talents does more damage than my dps jean who is level 50 with level 2 talents
i have a recommendation! you could use barbara on the thrilling tales book to buff diluc, using her e and then switching to him. also a tip is you can ult with diluc, use his e and give 1 normal attack in between his e hits

Diluc's weapon is good on him but you'll have to make little detours to Natlan if you wanna level it up even more. I wonder how scary Natlan is at your world level.✨
if it’s still early game, it’s kinda hard to get a great build going for characters since you don’t have access to great artifacts. but basically for barbara as a support/healer you would kinda build HP. you could do thrilling tales as her weapon. & for a lisa early game build you want to try to build just like attack & electro dmg :)
you can get them both for free! you can get barbara for free after finishing the mondstadt archon quest (i think it was that quest, one of the early ones), and xiangling you can get for free from doing the abyss!!
