This scene was meant to be a callback to the very thing that inspired Jim Henson to create the Dark Crystal in the first place. He got the inspiration for it from a painting of crocodiles dressed up in Victorian era clothing taking a bath, which inspired the Skeksis and their fancy attire, leading of course to the creation of the Dark Crystal universe along with assistance from Brian Froud
Aughra is one spicy lady that has no fear and no respect for privacy. I want to be her when I am older sweet to children, kind to friends and family, wild with other and a scary bitch to my enemies. Aughra Rocks!
True doesn't help that these pure evil beings have spas in a crystal castle 😂😂 also the podling giving them massges just destroy any fear people had of the skieses and this bit 0:37 makes me laugh it's like aughras thinking freaking idiots
