My 10 year old son and I love watching your trapping videos we started trapping this year we only got 2 rats but was limited on places to trap and we got started late. I wish we had muskrat huts here. We just have runs to look for. Keep up the great videos trapper J
I like the hole idea of all action. Then it just gives you more matiral to make a how too set or the general role on how too set different traps 👍😉 Right on cuz
Hey since you are great at trapping can you contact Stoney Ridge Farmers channel . He has what he believes are muskrats doing some serious damage to his ponds . Hope you can help him .
Hi there, this video is interesting - you sure got a lot of muskrats! What do you do with the muscrats once you've caught them? Do you use them for bait for some other critter? Heather🇨🇦
@@TrapperJOutdoors, Yes that will definitely make it tougher for you, for sure. I had lots of rats this spring so I am anticipating a large population this fall.
Bought me some 110’s we have warm weather right now in upstate NY. Found a hut. Gotta go investigate. That little Orange stake have a name? You buy or make? Thank you sir!

What brand trap stakes? Great video
110 stabilizers from fnt post
So do they eat muskrat in Missouri like we do on the East Coast myself I like saltwater rats never cared much for freshwater rats
Cages work so much better in runs, lot more catch at once
Are they worth much $?
I know I watched this guess it got taken away from my liked videos because I forgot to comment
Do you eat ? Or skin ? Or sell ? Them
What brand traps are you using
I mainly use duke traps
Bought me some 110’s we have warm weather right now in upstate NY. Found a hut. Gotta go investigate. That little Orange stake have a name? You buy or make? Thank you sir!
Victor L. Fazio III you can buy them at fnt post but I use wood stakes now just rip a2x4 into 5/8 strips so they just slide thru the eye of the spring
Check out episode 4 it has them in it
Make sure your 5ft away from a muskrat hut or den. NYS regulation.
@@jacobherrmann8140 Thanks!
@TRAPPER J OUTDOORS, I don't see you putting any bait on the traps. Was there bait in the traps?. Love your videos.
