It's a matter of talent and the right club and national teams (therefore, luck...). For example, had Jay Jay Okocha played with Barcelona of Xavi, Ronaldinho, Young Messi...., he'd be among the greatest ever worldwide. No abedi pele is crazy! The guy was a key player for Marseille as they dominated the French league for several years and won the champions league - still the only French side to do so! He also won afcon with Ghana and carried them to another final as the best player of the tournament.
