    The only part of this strategy that's a little curious to me is, why would you discard a potential lead simply because you can't find personalized info? Why not just identify a potential pain point or two they may have that your product/service can solve & see if it resonates with them? What would you have to lose?

    I realize that this video was just a brief overview of your “Cold to Gold Selling” program, but why didn’t you at least mention the “body” of the email message and emphasize this as one of the important steps necessary for achieving 40% reply rates? Quite honestly, I think that following every step you discussed in your video would still be a losing proposition if a person doesn't also have first-rate info in the body of his email message. For instance, wouldn't the body of the email explain why you are contacting the prospect and letting him know how he will benefit by responding to your email and agreeing to your proposal? Wouldn’t the body be the part of the email message where you list solutions to what you perceive as the prospect’s problem? Ironically, you did such an excellent job articulating the 4 steps for achieving 40% reply rates that the failure to discuss the importance of the body of the email was actually quite shocking. :-)

    • @ColdtoGoldSellingwithUptics
      @ColdtoGoldSellingwithUptics  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Denny, absolutely those things matter, no doubt. These were the main things to get a reply. I'll be doing another video eventually covering the body content. This one got a little longer than I anticipated 😃

    • @ColdtoGoldSellingwithUptics
      @ColdtoGoldSellingwithUptics  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The body content will help determine interest level. But the content in this video mostly impacts the reply rate. But 💯 it all plays together.

    I know you said this isn’t meant for lower ticket products (I’m selling a chatbot for $99/month) but will these strategies work for my product, despite it being low ticket? Shouldn’t it work better as the barriers of entry are lower?

    • @ColdtoGoldSellingwithUptics
      @ColdtoGoldSellingwithUptics  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It will work for almost any offer really, it's just a matter of ROI. If you have the ability to sell higher than $99/mo id target bigger prospects with this strategy, unless you're just starting out, in which case this can be a good way to get going too

      @@ColdtoGoldSellingwithUptics Funny you mention that. Neil Patel, i saw yesterday in one of his videos, suggests to clean out ppl who dont open up their emails. I did that about a week ago from my own thinking. I went from re 2000 emails/contacts to re 100. I have created a new email sequence and have so far with 2 emails sent out rxd 55-70% open rates....and only one reply.
      I think i know what to do from here and will be testing that out tomoz.
      What i am doing is not selling a product directly yet asking others for a Joint Venture where they sign up as an affiliate for free, no costs whatsoever and upload a video which i made yet can personise it for them letting sales come through. One would think ppl would jump at the chance yet not so as the only "wirk" for them is to upload a video they like and approve of.
      In the last month or so, i have tested diff email titles and found what works. The body is getting a lot of attn with ppl going back as often as 7X.....the software i use tracks these stats, yet as said, only one interested reply.
      I am selling two rship courses, diff to anything else out there with a host of benefits incl free lifetime support etc. I am now at the stage of my testing, starting tomoz, to offer potential JVs the 1st two lessons and to judge by their own results. If tgey like and believe in my material, they will go to the ends of the earth to promote the programs....such is my current things. Next few days will show results.

    OK content. But going too complimentary / praising at start of an email outreach puts you in the position of a fan boy / girl instead of viewed as a peer to peer business person (there a certain markets / industries where this is more prevalent than others of course). For me the better / stronger frame to open the email with is by mentioning a social / business connection of someone they already respect. This could be someone you've seen them interviewed by on a podcast, for example. And can open by saying 'Peter Podcaster gave me the idea to email you, it seems we both have him in connection.' And then in subject line can put 'Hi John (via Peter Podcaster)' The reason why sending the cold email / problem addressing was somehow left out of the video. And the CTA of providing value may get you a response, but ironically the more value you provide / the effort go to upfront to demonstrate value without a formal relationship the more they will view you as a commodity they have the upper hand over and will simply 'take' whatever you say you will provide (eg a value based video) and not feel any obligation to engage with you on a peer to peer business level. So getting a 40% response may sound impressive (and it is!) but it doesn't actually count for anything if you can't then take things forward as a respected peer to formalise a business relationship on terms that make sense to you (ie, where they pay you what you are worth and know they have to pay you what you are worth to get your intellectual capital; which is difficult if you've already gone out of your way to send value upfront in order to impress them / engage them).

    • @ColdtoGoldSellingwithUptics
      @ColdtoGoldSellingwithUptics  ปีที่แล้ว

      yea, totally depends on the prospect. This is jsut one example that has worked for us in the past. The biggest thing to keep in mind with this strategy is that the remainder of the email needs to resonate with the prospect. So it's typically best to test messaging with automated email first
