When I was a kid I recall watching the amazing illustrations when the map was loading, now that I see it as a young adult I can´t believe the pixels where so notorious, lol. I still love those illustrations and the game itself.
Damn this almost brings tears to my eyes. I remember when I used to LOVE the hell out of this game as a kid. This takes me way back in time. I gotta say that the producers have done a far better job with the first Rumble Arena game. Rumble arena 2 was hot garbage.
I think 2 was better in some ways and worse in others. Having 2 digivolutions was awesome but removing pretty much if not all characters from the first game ain't great
I was so poor all I had as a kid was a pencil and a piece of paper on which I'd draw soldiers with guns shooting each other and I'd play Jugoslavija vs amerika
I remember when I used to do that too while bored in the classroom and seeing another kids with their portable consoles during recess. Nostalgia hits hard :'/

This game made me watch Digimon when I was a kid, Digimon had so much more potential...
Even now Renamon's Diamond Storm attack has a quite satisfying visual flare.

I always played Gabumon because I loved Metal Garurumon.

I loved this game - you were so lucky to not have Reapermon use their special.... that is a brutal attack which I suffered many times.
