I had a buddy that was a huge Garurumon fan, while I was always a Greymon fan, and while these two mons' lines have always been the strongest, which kind of made them rivals to each other, I always said that War Greymon was just peak and that no other mons at least in the Adventure series could compare to it, not even Metal Garurumon despite him being so strong too, because just logically think about it, no matter what Metal Garurumon would throw at War Greymon, the guy has the brave shield which is like one of the strongest defensive options out there, so the guy would be able to protect himself from pretty much anything that was thrown his way, then to add to his defensive capabilities, his armor is made of the toughest metal in the digital world Chrome Digizoid, and in his offensive kit the guy has the Dramon Destroyer claws, which are specifically designed to be super effective against Dramon species mons, which means that he specializes in taking down pretty much most of the strongest mons out there including himself, his armor also enables him to fly so he basically can fight pretty much in any terrain, and he can even use his Great Tornado to drill through anything even very tough metal as his claws are made from the strongest alloy, and should he meet a mon that is stronger than himself, he can always use the Gaia force which is basically a rip off of Dragon Ball's Spirit Bomb, which through enough charge the attack can pretty much overwhelm anything that could threaten him, this is why he was so top tier and with Black War Greymon being even deadlier, that's why I was happy to see these guys dominating in Digimon Rumble Arena 1.

But if memory serves correct, the episode Agumon appeared in, he's a game character from Haru's Digimon game save file. He initially calls Haru "HaruHarumon" as that was his user name for the Digimon game. In the episode, something took control of video game characters and made them behave erratically to the point it was affecting the real world. Agumon was trying to stop the other video game characters. So not the same one from Adventure.
For short, he's as much the same agumon as an agumon coming from digimon world would be. (Except it can mega digivolve 😅) Same species with same digivolution line but totally different tamer/buddy/owner and backstory.
i love how in the dub for the zeedmillenniummon one tai says they need more energy or something to that effect when suddenly energy starts pouring into the gaia force en masse and he simply says "well there ya go!" idk why but that one moment always got a chuckle outta me

The 2020 Reboot Machinedramon Fight is missing. I hope if we get a real Remake of the First Digimon Season that it has a better Fight against Machinedramon. The Remake seems to follow the Original Story and Character Development. But i hope the Fights are made better then just finish them with their Special Moves. A Strong Digimon like Machinedramon going down in one Hit makes not much Sense. Even with the Dramon Killers.

Wargreymon from adventure and 02 is not that strong for a Ultimate level,But the one from adventure 2020 is a monster for the 2 last fight his opponement is litteraly a being able to destroy Multiverses just by existing .Its already impressive he managed to free his friend from the mouth of Milleniumon.
