You know what would have been cool? If after completing the ritual you got a single copy of the card add to your collection. It would be once per save file so you can't just get 3 ultimate dragons right away. but also let's you get a full play set if you really want by tradeing for it. This would give the rituals so much more purpose in the game and make finding all the right cards to compete it more fun
Yeah, that would be really cool, and they could design a memory card like device to handle those exchanges too. You just described the pocketstation for this game in Japan. It was pretty cool, would have been great if we had that kind of content in the game lol.
Ritual summoning was the biggest letdown in this game. The rituals themselves were really hard to obtain, you had to have multiple creatures survive on the field that are extremely weak just to make a monster that's weaker than THTD and most of the better late game single cards you get.
even some are weaker than mystical sand, which is the most common fusion and all newbies can do that by simply put rock monsters and female creatures together..

Worst part about ritual monsters is that they where meant to be these incredible powerful cards that could be easier to summon then fusions. But they where never really viable since you needed the ritual spell card and monster to play in your hand. Making them just as ineffective in a game as fusions themselves.

Ritual di game ini adalah yg paling gak worth it masuk deck. Udah kartunya harus spesifik, butuh 4 kartu termasuk ritualnya, statusnya juga gak gede2 amat. Dan rata2 gak bakal tau sacrifice monster nya kalo gak buka walkthrough.
The complexity off the ritual summoning shows how much love went into this game. No other game would track if a card has horns f.e. . Sadly rituals are way less effective than fusions in this game but I like thatthey put so much effort into this feature
I have the same question. Some cards you need to make the ritual have very low ATK and DEF that it is impossible put them on the field without the opponent defeat them before you can make the ritual. This game is insane

I like how only the most obvious ritual spells actually listed the correct material. Gate Guardian Ritual: use Kaze, Sui, and Sanga Blue Eyes Ultimate: 3 blue eyes BUT THEN Cosmo Queen ritual: use “normal queen” Lmfao wut?! How was anyone supposed to figure any of those out, honestly...
That's right, the Gate Guardian ritual combines 3 cards that have high attacks ... and Cosmo Queen, I can't help thinking, the intermediate card is already on my deck without the need to farming.. Damn
LMAO, right?! Not to mention that i think they kinda messed up with the rituals in this game. I mean, all of the rituals requires 3 specific monsters to make them, then you'd have to have all of 'em on the field, and only then you can ritual summon. Some of these are not even worth the trouble! For instance, why would you do all that for, let's say, a *Yamadron* (1600/1800) when you can just fuse "female + rock" (Mystical Sand) or "dragon + plant" (B. Dragon Jungle King) and have a 2100 atk monster instead? Or just throw an equip to a 1500+ atk monster and have a 2000+ atk as result, right? And it's even worse with Blue-Eyes Ultimate because, by the moment you have all the materials for the ritual, you'd likely already won the game! And again, is just easier to equip a regular Blue-Eyes with 3 equips and you'll have the same result: a 4500 atk monster! If at least the ritual spells could use the cards in your hand for said ritual summon, now that would be a whole nother history!

I remember longtime ago finish this game with only dragon and lightning/thunder type monster plus magic cards to increase attack. IIRC Any combination 3 cards dragon + lighting (dragon + lightning + dragon or lightning + dragon + lightning) will combine to Twin Headed Thunder Dragon.
and when you played long enough you ended up realizing that Zombie Dragon or any dragon that has 1600+ atk points and any electric mon can make a Twin Headed Thunder Dragon
Any combination of a dragon (or dragon like card) and a thunder element with one of the two with at least 1600 atk will result in Twin Headed. That was basically the main strat of the game 😂🙏
Ritual is so useless in this game. First, we require 4 cards on the the field to summon. Second, they come in random from deck. Lastly, some of them do not show the specific cards to be applied for the ritual.
The thing that passes me off the most about this game is that after calculations even if you started to play the game since you were 5 and played 8 to 10 hours daily it would take you *DECADES* literal *DECADES!* to reach full max star chips. You could literally turn 30 and have a long way if you didn't play 10 hours daily. The only fun was the sense of mystery and discovery from all the possible fusions.

Carta psicópata tipo trueno, se puede combinar con tipo dragón y se convierte en una carta fuerte si el oponente tiene esa carta ... Puedes farmear buscando cartas en modo duelo gratis, si tienes suerte obtendrás una buena carta ... incluyendo una carta combinada que se usa en rituales, ... esto no está usando este mod es el original ps1, y Nunca lo terminé
En este juego, no confío en cartas de monstruos fuertes, siempre cultivo cartas para recolectar magia, equipar, atrapar, en duelos libres ... este juego no puede depender de cartas fuertes, sino también de técnicas de naipes ... más si jugamos desde el principio con cartas una muy débil
Dari semua kartu ritual, cuma Cosmo Queen yang saya suka karena untuk semua kartu equip tipe Fairy, Dark & Female itu kegabung menambah attack & deffense (1 persatu). Contoh : Jika ada 10 kartu equipment (Fairy, Dark dan Female) maka ke 10 kartu tersebut kegabung kedalam Cosmo Queen. 500 x 10 = 5.000 + 2.900 = 7.900 dalam sekali penggabungan udah gitu serangan efek animasi Cosmo Queen sangat bagus dan tumbal untuk ritualnya sangat mudah serta murah dicari sebab tumbalnya adalah kartu pasaran. Kesimpulannya Cosmo Queen adalah kartu GG jika mengetahui penggabungan equipment tipe Fairy, Dark dan Female Creatures. Sayangnya jarang dipakai didalam pertempuran oleh pemain dan juga komputer.

Carta psicópata tipo trueno, se puede combinar con tipo dragón y se convierte en una carta fuerte si el oponente tiene esa carta ... Puedes farmear buscando cartas en modo duelo gratis, si tienes suerte obtendrás una buena carta ... incluyendo una carta combinada que se usa en rituales, ... esto no está usando este mod es el original ps1, y Nunca lo terminé
En este juego, no confío en cartas de monstruos fuertes, siempre cultivo cartas para recolectar magia, equipar, atrapar, en duelos libres ... este juego no puede depender de cartas fuertes, sino también de técnicas de naipes ... más si jugamos desde el principio con cartas una muy débil
Es verdad el arte de dibujo de la carta ritual (Azul) es un poco perturbador.

Dari semua kartu ritual, cuma Cosmo Queen yang saya suka karena untuk semua kartu equip tipe Fairy, Dark & Female itu kegabung menambah attack & deffense (1 persatu). Contoh : Jika ada 10 kartu equipment (Fairy, Dark dan Female) maka ke 10 kartu tersebut kegabung kedalam Cosmo Queen. 500 x 10 = 5.000 + 2.900 = 7.900 dalam sekali penggabungan udah gitu serangan efek animasi Cosmo Queen sangat bagus dan tumbal untuk ritualnya sangat mudah serta murah dicari sebab tumbalnya adalah kartu pasaran. Kesimpulannya Cosmo Queen adalah kartu GG jika mengetahui penggabungan equipment tipe Fairy, Dark dan Female Creatures. Sayangnya jarang dipakai didalam pertempuran oleh pemain dan juga komputer.
