Just bought the exact same keyboard! Might try to do this as well. One question where exactly do you sprayed the switches? Bottom right or left or middle? I can't see it clearly because of the tissue. I want to replicate your way to spray since that's my safest bet to not ruin my new keyboard 😅
try to look at your switch. i used it on the opposite side of where the led is. i sprayed on the corner. pretty sure it will work as well on all sides. ☺️ goodluck man. will try to be more clear showing it to the camera next time
Naka-order na ako ng keyboard kahapon pero iniisip ko pa rin kung dapat ba itong keyboard na to ung binili ko. I bought an RK 68, I think its a new one on the market bc its for pre-order pa. I am in a dire situation! I have the exact keyboard although it’s the hotswap version and my pcb Will not come out of the case. Is there a wire that’s restricting this? Please help!
I tried hard to do the foam mod to my version of this keyboard. I couldn't get it to close with 2mm foam, it was so tight the switches were popping up (hot swappable version).

i can still feel the tactility. maybe 10% less than before. i made a mistake lubing this. didn't go full press spray. now it's a bit more scratchy than the first day of it was lubed. but my rk987 is still smooth like day1 of spray lubed. maybe huano brown really just too scratchy

hii. its been almost 2months since i lube my ajazz k870t. i wouldn't lie that i made a mistake spraying lube. i did not do a full spray and the switches are a bit underlube. after a month they are a bit scratchier than usual (after lubing) so i would suggest do a full 1 press spray to make sure that the lube will cover every spot in the switches. also don't buy the browns, they are super scratchy 😂. but my rk987 which i think i did better spraying since i did a full spray on this one. smooth af still after a month. still do it at your own risk ☺️
di ko naman tinanggal, you need to desolder the switch para ma tanggal yung stabilizer, pero pwede mo yan ma angat yung lalagyan ng tape without desoldering the switch. may i ppush ka dyan using tweezer
I cleaned my keyboard yesterday, this keyboard. Then I experience some 'lagging' when I use it to play game. And sometimes it doesn't respond at all. Do you know anything that might help? I've tried using that small dust blower after pulling all the keycaps, but it still doesn't work. But strangely I can still use it to type.. Can I remove that switch so maybe I can clean the PCB with alcohol, sir?
@@NiftyKeyboards I didn't, but I spray a little bit of water to clean the keycaps? I've been thinking that maybe the water got in to the switch or something.. But I'm sure I didn't spray the switch directly.. 😔

Hi Sir Nifty, recently nung pagkagamit ko ng keyboard bigla nalang nag auto press yung ibang keys like if i press "W" then it will automatically press QWERTYUIOP{}|. Isang row yung napipindot nya. Possible na naging cause is nabasa yung keycaps kase pasmado ako then mainit sa aking place. Sa tingin mo sir ano ang possible na need kong gawin? Thanks po.
May nabasa ako ndi daw mgnda pag spray lube? plan ko pa nman sana sa K2 ko dahil d ako marunong mag desolder. Nag foam mod dn ako ang gnamit ko is ung foam na ksama sa box ng k2 , Ok lang kaya un?
it's not as good as the casual lubing pero it's not that bad also. optional method lng tlga siya kung di mo kaya mag desolder. may isang step pa to actually di ko na ginawa. yung mag lalagay ka ng lube sa gilid ng butas ng housing for stem :)
lazada lng. it's really your decision kung you will try it or not or ma ssatisfied ka ba sa spray lubing. i suggest you to buy keyboard like this one first to try mag spray lube. kung kabado ka kay k2 mo since mas mahal sya hehe

as long as it's mx cherry stem keycaps im sure it will be fine. the keyboard profile is also standard so everything will pretty muchfit

How long do you have to wait for the lube to dry before using the keyboard?
mine just two hours, just shake well before spraying or else you might damage your keyboard. you can wait up to a day air drying it just to make sure

What testing software/ typing do you use?
i use ek switch hitter for testing if all keys are working. then typingworks & monkey-type for typing website

sprayed a bit of water to a tissue and use it to wipe the keycaps..
@@scelusiasadventure2278 try to blow on those unresponsive keycaps, maybe there are dirt inside

pwedeng basa pa sa loob, if may warranty pa try mo pa warranty, if wala na kalasin mo then let it air dry

6-12hrs should be completely dry. depending in your room temp. i used mine after 3hrs

2-3 hours lng ginawa ko dito sa video. pero i suggest na at least 12hrs to 24hrs

I'd say 95% you will not ruin your keyboard. still do it at your own risk pa din. cleaning the lubr na napunta sa plste yung hardest part
