      Dr. G has talked about having success with other neurological and nerve-related conditions, though I'm not sure about this specifically. But her protocols are anti-inflammatory, so I would guess it would be beneficial in that regard. Dr. G usually has a live Q&A on her TH-cam, Instagram and Facebook on Wednesdays, you might try asking about it there and see if she or anyone else has reversed it. I wish you the best of luck in healing.❤

      Sue, this video that we watched that was so great would be for a healthy person. In addition people with all the problems you have which is a lot more than Dr g's single problem lupus tho devastating as it was. Hence I think you are candidate for carnivore and if you cannot do it right away because it is only meat, you could start with keto which allows you a few vegetables. BUT NOT the vegetables that she was eating such as potatoes. I think squash is also not allowed etc etc. You can Google that if you find the carnivore diet too difficult to dive into. I do think there is a solution to your problems but different folks take different strokes and Dr g would say that as well.
      This beautiful woman who did the podcast had just the one problem and you have many more and in addition she's very slender and can eat almost anything. Good luck🍀

    • @showmemovegan
      @showmemovegan  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I myself generally eat more of a starch solution diet with lots of veggies (basically adding HN on top of the starch solution.) This works well for me. Dr. Goldner recommends HN for everyone who is generally healthy regardless of the diet they follow. Though, if you were trying to heal from a chronic disease or autoimmune disease, of course Dr. Goldner would suggest her full Goodbye Lupus Protocol. But Dr. McDougall's program has also reversed these conditions as well. I am not a doctor or dietician, but I personally think that a starch based diet plus lots of non-starchy veggies and free of highly processed foods and animal products is a solid diet.

I can't specifically speak to gastritis, but I know some of my own health concerns took a long time to heal, so you may just need to keep at it for a bit longer. Are you Hyper-Nourishing or have you tried the full Goodbye Lupus (GLP) or Goodbye Autoimmune Protocols (GAIP)? GLP is fully raw...only consuming more of the hypernourishment foods, and no other kinds of food, and GAIP also adds mental health/stress reduction, etc on top of the raw diet. Hi! It depends on what protocol you follow. In this video I showed Hyper-Nourishment where you are to include 1 pound of cruciferous veggies, half a cup of ground flax or chia seeds, and 96 ounces of water. In addition to that you may eat whatever you like, there are no other restrictions on hyper-nourishment. If you are following the Goodbye Lupus Protocol for disease reversal then you would only consume the hypernourishing foods and any other raw vegetables (so cooked foods and sweeteners like honey would not be allowed). Hi! Most experts I've heard from recommend no more than about an ounce of any kind of nuts a day. I am not a doctor or dietician, but I personally avoid nuts. I usually have flax or chia seeds every day, but I don't regularly consume other seeds and nuts.

      Hi! I was actually able to reverse ulcerative colitis (as well as high cholesterol, asthma/allergies, and acne) with a whole food plant-based diet, so that is primarily what I talk about on my channel. But I love following different experts in the plant-based space and often do videos showing how to follow different doctors' methods or protocols. So I've studied Dr. G's protocols for awhile and got a request to show her protocols, though I was able to heal my UC without GLP. Thanks for watching!

Dr. G just emphasizes that the oil needs to be cold-pressed and should be in the refrigerated section of the store. Does the oatmeal and the almond. Do they interfere while your are in 6 weeks rapid recovery?

    • @showmemovegan
      @showmemovegan  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Hi there! In this video, I was showing hyper-nourishment, which is intended for health maintenence, rather than healing and recovery. Rapid recovery is the term for when you work directly with Dr. Goldner. If you are trying to heal on your own, the protocol to follow would be Goodbye Lupus or Goodbye Autoimmune Disease, and on those programs, oats and almonds would not be allowed until you were in remission because they could potentially slow the healing process. I'm working on another video that covers the details of those other protocols, but in the meantime, you could check out the Goodbye Lupus website or TH-cam Channel for more details. Hope that helps!

    Wow, this is alot of work, shopping, prepping, eating, digesting! How nourishing is this if you have to ease into it? Raw veggies especially do not break down in the gut, add bulk and irritate the gut. Notice gut pain increases with fiber? Just think about it. With autoimmune, an elimination diet is so much easier on the body and brain. Add in meats, eggs, butter (bowel rest as per GI docs for Chrons and digestive issues like celiac and ibs). Crops destroy habitat, animals and insects get killed off, tons of carbon emmisions from farming equipment. Low carb has healed my fatty liver and chronic hives, stopped the diabetes, no more smelly feet, and I have very little gray hair in my 60s. Hubbys psoriasis plaques are gone. I just hope that someone reads this and takes a hard look at how diets like this are not a fix for autoimmune.
