What would be the alternative set up for a newbie? I’m. Natural light boudoir tog but want to get into continuous lighting

Maybe a stupid question but why raise the iso to 800 when you are in control of the light ?
She's using a constant light too so it's not as powerful as a strobe
Light naked : 2100 Lux / 1 mWithout grid & soft layer and with reflective umbrella : 1/100s, 4.0, ISO 500 @ 1 mWell with 2/3 softbox + grid + distance = 1.5 m, she lost 1.75 stop.Guess the light is 100%.
What type of light source is in that unit? LED, or incandescent? How much power or lumens?
