I used to play the piano because I was forced to, but a few years ago when I first heard animenz play the piano, I was impressed and it made me want to play the piano for me. Now I can enjoy play the piano. thank you animenz!!!!
One thing I will always appreciate and which will always put animenz above every other anime pianist on TH-cam is how very serious he is about producing the best quality arrangement of each song he covers. @@nayu_ During practice my entire focus was almost 99% on the left hand (you can also see it in the video: my head is always focused on the left hand in 0:18) The right hand is essentially playing blindly. This piece requires a lot of muscle memory, but once you pull it off, the satisfaction of the octave bassline is simply unbeatable!
It honestly just feels amazing watching and listening to Animenz play. Every refined detail in how he arranged which notes he's decided to hit to how long or soft he's playing it. Crazy as a pianist knowing I'll never be as good as you, but at the very least I want to get as close as possible to playing and hopefully arranging the way you do.
I love how Animenz exacerbates the difficulty of any piece he touches. Like if he did ‘Mary Had A Little Lamb’ it would be like: - Standard Performance: 5 keys, 20 seconds long. - Animenz Performance: all 88 keys, 4 minutes 49 seconds long with accompanying lute solo
That was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I love that fist followed by the thumbs up at the end. For me, you truly captured every single intricate detail that I could hear in the original song, from the bass line to the drum syncopation. This was a wonderful blessing of an arrangement to listen to. BRAVO!!!

The very melodic and crazy verses segues to a beautiful chorus melody thats very very pleasant to listen to. This piano interpretation is the besssssst! Not many like this song since its different than usually pretty messy as well, but i love the jazzy elements this song has, rly nice cover! also it has to be said the pedal control is perfect! its rly hard to get the right pedaling especially with the walking bass the song has. Listening to the original version, you might think it's impossible to make it sound right on a piano, but once again you surprised us all. You became my biggest inspiration Animenz, if I'm still standing today and not eaten away by life, it's thanks to all the hopes you gave me. In life, I'm someone so ordinary that people quickly forget who I am, I have very few friends and very few things that motivate me. I had no reason to live, my only daily activities were to listen to you play the piano and complain about everything and nothing. I never really wanted to listen to myself about what I liked, even if everyone since my childhood tells me that I like the piano. For some reason that I don't know myself, I never took it seriously, when in reality I've been listening to your music and even classical musics for so many years (i discovered your channel 7 years ago with the "This Game" 2014 arrangement). Today I'm 19 and I started playing seriously at the beginning of the year 2022, recording myself playing, totally inspired by you. I feel like I finally became someone a little less ordinary when I started playing, and I felt so comfortable, many times I cried in front of my piano, playing anything, this instrument makes me travel through dimensions. As you could tell, I love classical music and anime music, I could only love your content. I will now become an excellent pianist no matter what, I am finally taking online conservatory lessons (I will try to get money to get real lessons there), and despite the fact that I didn't start when I was a child, it wont prevent me from having the time to become an amazing pianist.
