I was just sitting here thinking Jesus if Halfass doesn't post something soon, I'll have to talk to the wife all night. You saved me brother, thank you. Cheers.
Brent you're the best at making the cars come to life right in front of our eyes. You make it look so easy. I love all your videos. Keep up the great work and God Bless you and your family.
Halfassed my ass. I know you go into some of your builds blindly but, your foresight and recovery from mistakes makes these projects works of art. I learn a lot from you. Thanks!
I'm really liking how this one is coming together! The motor and transmission mounts look great, and that plasma table is a seriously impressive bit of engineering!
@@astravanmk2 Oh, you have some cool steam engine stuff going on. How cool is meccano?! My dad had some left over from the 60s (i think) that i'd play with as a kid in the 80s, i used to prefer it over leggo.
@@mikescudder4621 thanks very much, anything mechanical is my passion. I love the pairing of Meccano and steam. All the models I build end up steam powered in some way. I’m 36 and I still love building what are considered toys by most. Such things I find are timeless much more rewarding then the plastic junk that kids have these days. Thanks for the kind comment. :)
Lots more room in the shop, good job. Homemade plasma table, you're a man of many talents, of course we knew that. Build is coming along nicely I am always impressed with your skills.
7 inches of snow last night here in northeastern Ontario so I'm just in from removing the loader from the tractor to instal the front snow blower and it will take an hour to thaw my fingers and my feet. Funny how a video from Brent simply brightens my day and made the pain of thawing out completely bearable. Thanks Brent. I did not recognize the shop but it sure looks good.
I like nothing better than to kick back and hang out and learn some stuff. Thanks Brent! I still Crack up when I hear the doggie toy squeaking in the background...lol!
Wow, I’m impressed. The things you do with engines, cars and trucks. Making that Multi axis plasma cutter from parts you gathered on eBay. Then you have the software spoon feeding the machine control Wow.
Woke up and a new video had dropped in …perfect, cup of coffee and pure enjoyment.. Brent you still make it look so easy, nothing seems to be an issue… cheers
As my kids would say, Brent, " that thing looks so sick, " when its finished. Man you got one hell of a eye ball for designing cool looking hotrods. Brent. If it wasn't for men like you i'd be bored out of my mind with nothing decent to watch on youtube. So thanks for sharing your vision and all your hard work with us Brent.
She's shaping up to be a pretty sweet truck Brent. If I ever hit the lotto the first thing I'd do after the money hit the bank would be to hit you up for any old projects you'd want to get rid of.
You are a sneaky Pete, forcing us to watch the butchery then it starts to come together then you hug this Holley and back away to see TWO Holley's and a HUGE High risk intake. OMG! This is gonna be so cool. No one is gonna be looking at your custom cut mounts, oh maybe the boxed frame with lightening holes will be noticed but those Carbs are just awesome. I hope you have good cam, oh yeah imagine that thing idling, you blip the gas, slip it gear and head off with that dang Drone following around making us all DROOL with jealousy. You are such a animal and just keep going and going. What what you can do with nothing is just amazing. Thank You for sharing, Dennis
I had a 4x4 Plasma table ( Dynatorch ) for about about 5 yrs . I used it daily building custom fire pits. I don’t think I would want to build a table from scratch. The table itself wouldn’t be so bad but all the electrics ? Forget it. I have nothing but respect for your many skills
Yup, lookin' good. Definitely box in the motor mount flanges. It'll be way stronger as far a longitudinal stress from balls to the walls acceleration and hard breaking is concerned.
Your amazing, you’ve saved me a lot of money on your little tricks you have like Velcro in window slides felt.? Whatever there called? And most of all I’m with you on your music and your camera work,I watch you practically every day, keeps my mind off the lousy news here in USA. PEACE
Lovin an expanding shop. Also lovin you be so blaseh about your home made plasma table....! I wouldn't even know where to begin on that!!! Can't wait for some more flowing crazier builds
Well there’s nothing Halfass about this build. Really impressed by your plasma table, one off parts that look like factory pieces. I agree about having something to look at whilst you’re driving. I used to have a ‘29 Model A delivery with blown Buick V8 and looking through the chopped windshield was pure magic. I couldn’t see much else through what was left of the glass, but yes it was magic. Anyways, thanks for sharing Brent & look forward to the next episode 👍🇬🇧🇨🇦.
Pablo really loves you. I bet he’s glad you didn’t take up sky diving! Pretty innovative on that plasma cutter set up. Where I used to work we employed a water jet to cut metal. Had a really deep table that was a mess to clean the used sand. Sally forth!
The project is moving in the right direction it seems to me ... 👌I like the pair of carburetors with chrome filters, it reminds me of when as a child I had a model of an American Matchbox car that had the carburetor air filter assembly that came out of the hood! 😎
I’m sure I’ve said it before but I just can’t stop… It’s full on mind boggling how quickly you can envision and build these rigs. I’m in awe constantly. And I can’t wait for more. You are the best build channel on TH-cam and the evidence speaks for itself. 😊👍👍
It's too bad all of us fabrication freeks aren't paid for our recycling skills! We'd be the one's grtting someone else to butter our toast ! What talent ,also lost art, Brent great job !! Love the process, what a fun project!! Jim
The truck is coming along great. You are a true metal artist and its a pleasure to watch you fabricate. The addition to the shop looks good and I'm sure helped out alot. Keep up the excellent work and thanks for sharing your builds with us.
You seem very handy with the welder.. and very accurate about eyeballing things! I envy you,, there's always something to do there!! And it looks "cool"
Wow ,You blew out the side wall and gave yourself a bunch more room to work, really needed it. The truck is coming along. Wish i had a plasma table. When i boxed the 45 frame i cut the pcs with a cut off and hole saw. Your killin it Brent!
Always a treat. Got my 54 coming along. Found a good 235 for it. (My needed to be bored 0.90 and it would've cost a ton) but she'll be goin soon. Thanks for the inspiration and entertainment

I’ve said the same things many times. I wish I was half as good as he is.
I’m amazed by both Brent & Dan from DD’s, must be a Canadian thing? Metal magicians!
Halfassed my ass. I know you go into some of your builds blindly but, your foresight and recovery from mistakes makes these projects works of art. I learn a lot from you. Thanks!
Never too old too learn ,for sure
I’m really impressed that you designed and built that plasma cutting table

Luv that home made plasma, get it done
Beautiful work, please clean up frame and paint it all that work needs to be shown off
Excellent. Another upload from my new favourite channel on TH-cam. I watched the entire Monarch build today, that was truly epic.
Check out 'the general' build, you won't be disappointed.

I grew up with the saying: "Trash Begets Trash..." The nice thing Brent that the trash you beget is turned into a work of art!
I always hate that part when you say " i think this where i am going to leave this one " . I could watch you allday. you are a true craftsman.

The final shot of the truck on the hoist says it all! She's gonna be "COOL!!"
Dual Quads and a Tunnel Ram?! The double blast of true "Old School"!
