Worth the watch. Always maintaining decorum of his profession in highest regard. Avoid any controversy or conflict of interest debate or prejudicial statements on subjects esp about politicians and cases . Wish he continues his service in our country on other avenues preferably judicial reforms etc .

This decorum won’t give a commoner anything. People are suffering and he is maintaining his image in public.
Behind the scene, he is an absolutely corrupt man.

@@LiuChan-d5o in that matter he isn't different from other CJIs. Only thing that sets him apart is the number of landmark judgments he has passed. He is corrupt no doubt, but is he the most corrupt CJI we had so far? Unlikely.

Every moment of this discussion was blissful and have definitely enriched my thinking. Learnt a great deal about the professional journey and personal life of Mr Chandrachud and I am satisfied to know that countries judiciary is right hands. I used to think that collegium system is to benefit the sons and daughters of the judges and lawyers but after listening to this I can see that it is the right system for India. You conducted the discussion very well, you allowed him to freely express his views and gave him sufficient time to complete his thoughts without interrupting too much. Thank you so much.

I think CJI Chandrachud sir's humility and temperance is rarely seen in the public office.
I think biggest step that you took was live streaming of the court proceedings because opening up oneself to the criticism voluntarily isn't everyone's cup of tea.
And all the decisions can't make everyone happy, so criticism is bound to happen but targeting individual judge is a matter of concern.
One may not agree with your view in one or two judgments but one has hundred percent surety of your bonafide nature.
Thank you sir for being outreaching and vocal. Not only judiciary but common citizenry have benefitted a lot through you and people like us always liked to listen when you spoke.
Although it'd be great if a jurist like you ever thought of rendering your expertise to the Law & Justice Ministry in near future.
One issue that people may criticize you and may cast aspersions, then that they are already doing and will surely keep doing irrespective of what you do, because it suits their interest.
Thank you, sir! Best wishes for future endeavers!!!!

Dr. Dy Chandrachud sir is a prominent jurist, eminent lawyer and peoples judge. He interpreted the law of land in such a way that which depicts his knowledge of different rules like golden rule or mischief rule etc. He always emphasized on operative part of law which closely associate with the ideology that law is a rational instrument for upliftment of society and social change for good. lt may be possible that some persons or class of persons disagree with his rationality of judgements delivered by him, on their different social philosophy and interests but we must keep in mind that legal aspects can not work beyond the context and intention of statues concerned. His remarkable changes in Indian judiciary system will be remembered as corner stone which also affect legal fraternity and public at large in good sense. As an advocate and aspirant of higher judiciary he always inspired me by his limitless passions and conduct in court or outside of courtroom. his extraordinary legal understanding similar to Late PN Bhagvati. I would rather say that chandrachud sir is warrior of the constitution and it's values.🙏🙏

Most of the higher judiciary time is either preserved to or doldnout to the most cremey layer of the BCI lawyers. Lakhs of people are rotting in jails without any remedy for decades but few lawyers can get judgements within few seconds of mentioning. Most deplorable state-of-the-art judiciary today.

SSR, Jiah Khan, Disha saliyan, Andha bhi ab to dekhne laga aur bola ki ye murder hai, par humare judge sahab ne to Insaf ke devi ki murti ki tarah apne ankho pe aise patti bandhi ki nahi maine to kuch dekha hi nahi, janta ne saboot rakh diya, nahi wo bhi humne nahi dekha. janta cheek cheekh ke insaf mang rahi hai, par sorry judge sahab soo rahe the aur kuch sunayi nahi diya. Corrouption ho to humari country jaise. retirement ke baad clean chit nikal jate hai aur social media ke time me kuch PR aur kuch ankh wale andhe hote hai to unka kya hi kiya jaa sakta hai.

@@rajjaha9556 I agree with you, but I believe that a judge should not be familiar with politicians or influential individuals. For instance, you have seen him invite the Prime Minister to his house, drive fancy cars, and give lectures at various colleges. I think such activities should be avoided while holding the position of Chief Justice. These can be pursued after retirement. Being chosen as the Chief Justice is a tough job, and such sacrifices are necessary to uphold the dignity of the position.

Especially, if you isolate yourself ( Judges are after all humans with all its strengths and weakness, In fact this is true for any professions). This podcast makes the statements of the critiques more concrete, that former CJI never wanted to miss the limelight ! Those who are still in awe with former CJI should read a detailed report on him by Saurav Das. Though, I do admit, Chandrachud has been an exceptional actor. He has managed to instill the defacto of protecting constitution in people’s mind and playing indirectly for the ruling party on important judgements.
Since Chandrachud is concerned about his legacy and the kind of judgements he has given, by now, it should be clear to him that hiding facts and truth is not easy job, even for a former CJI !
